White House Aides knew about and hid Secret Service Prostitution information

Just when things seem the darkest, a bit of good news. Previously we heard that the D.C. Court was holding Eric Holder’s feet to the fire in the failure to produce documents, now the Washington Post picks up on the Secret Service prostitution coverup story. This could be a big one. And having the Post on their tail won’t hurt a bit. The clip over at the post is worth taking the ride over. Here we go:

As nearly two dozen Secret Service agents and members of the military were punished or fired following a 2012 prostitution scandal in Colombia, Obama administration officials repeatedly denied that anyone from the White House was involved.

But new details drawn from government documents and interviews show that senior White House aides were given information at the time suggesting that a prostitute was an overnight guest in the hotel room of a presidential advance-team member — yet that information was never thoroughly investigated or publicly acknowledged.

The lead investigator later told Senate staffers that he felt pressure from his superiors in the office of Charles K. Edwards, who was then the acting inspector general, to withhold evidence — and that, in the heat of an election year, decisions were being made with political considerations in mind.

“We were directed at the time . . . to delay the report of the investigation until after the 2012 election,” David Nieland, the lead investigator on the Colombia case for the DHS inspector general’s office, told Senate staffers, according to three people with knowledge of his statement.

Nieland added that his superiors told him “to withhold and alter certain information in the report of investigation because it was potentially embarrassing to the administration.”

Wonder why these findings are coming out now? We know this sort of info isn’t released unless it’s approved by the media mafia. To me it smells of another ‘set up’. Back then some were fired – what’s the carrot for the Regime in this? Why bring it to surface when two years ago we knew this Regime was involved in some way – for some reason (esp. since it was in all the media). Maybe because some in the SS are still Americans and they want the anti-american DHS to take the reins (reigns).

The pattern is clear in every Obama Administration scandal. The trail always leads to the White House.

Those of us old enough to remember the Profumo scandal of 1963-look it up- (At the time I was only 12 years old and yet I knew all about it. Most 12 years old today don’t know who the vice president is) recall the print media was all over this like flies on rancid meat for months. Today White House insiders and Secret Service guys banging Colombian prostitutes? A mere bag of shells in the words of the late great Ralph Kramden. Under the Barry Obola watch National Security is fast becoming an outdated concept.

I recall that as well. Politics was a staple at the family dinner table, and the family sat down at the dinner table until we were excused.

Are we even sure the “overnight guest” wasn’t in the presidential suite?
