Boko Haram steals hundreds of more school boys in Nigeria

More children taken by Boko Haram. So time to go back and see what our savants in the government were saying about the group just a few months ago. Here is the latest:

Suspected Islamist Boko Haram fighters have abducted dozens of boys and men in a raid on a remote village in northeast Nigeria, loading them onto trucks and driving them off, witnesses who fled the violence said Friday.

The kidnappings come four months after Boko Haram, which is fighting to reinstate a medieval Islamic caliphate in religiously mixed Nigeria, abducted more than 200 schoolgirls from the village of Chibok.

Several witnesses who fled after Sunday’s raid on Doron Baga, a sandy fishing village near Lake Chad, said the militants had burned several houses and that as many as 97 people were unaccounted for.

“They left no men or boys in the place; only young children, girls and women,” said Halima Adamu, sobbing softly and looking exhausted after a 110-mile road trip on the back of a truck to the northern city of Maiduguri.

U.S. urged Nigeria restraint earlier in striking back at Terrorists

Hillary Clinton not only refused to designate Boko Haram as a terrorist group, despite an unparalleled record of terror, but the Obama regime actually even urged Nigeria to show “restraint” against them, as reported a year ago:

Via Breitbart:

On May 18, 2013 Nigerian war planes “struck militant camps in the northeast” in an attempt to stem the growing tide of Islamic terrorists in the area. The U.S. quickly warned that Nigeria needs to be sure “to respect human rights and not harm civilians.

Reuters reports that Nigerian troops used “jets and helicopters to bombard targets in their biggest offensive since the Boko Haram group launched a revolt almost four years ago.”

But three days after President Goodluck Jonathan declared a state of emergency in the northeast, U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry issued a strongly worded statement saying: “We are … deeply concerned by credible allegations that Nigerian security forces are committing gross human rights violations, which, in turn, only escalate the violence and fuel extremism.”

The situation in northeast Nigeria has become so bad that President Goodluck Jonathan declared a state of emergency there days ago.

Since that time, as Nigeria has used jets and helicopters to try to rein the Islamists in, U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry says he has “credible evidence” that Nigeria has committed “human rights violations” in retaliating against the Islamists.

Kerry said he condemns “Boko Haram’s campaign of terror in the strongest terms,” but he wants Nigeria to show “restraint” in their response.

Commie Blaster: Obama Regime Rebuilt Mosque in Boko Haram Area

In 2011, the State Department even provided funds to restore the 15th century Gobarau Minaret in Katsina State in Nigeria’s predominantly Muslim north, an area which has become a virtual killing field for Christians at the hands of Boko Haram.

Since 2009 over 288 Christian churches in Nigeria have been burned, thousands of Christian-owned homes destroyed, and over 2,000 Christians killed, including in July 2012 when fifty members of a northern Nigerian church were burned to death in their pastor’s house.

And how about what Carson has to say on the matter?

Religion Is Not Driving violence in Nigeria After Islamists Slaughter 39 Christians April 11, 2012 — bunkerville

Another Dangerous Team Obama Idiot: State Official Says Religion Is Not Driving Extremist Violence in Nigeria – After Islamists Slaughter 39 Christians, reads the headline.

Asst. Secretary of State Johnnie Carson

“ I want to take this opportunity to stress one key point and that is that religion is not driving extremist violence either in Jos, or northern Nigeria,” Assistant  Secretary of State Carson said Monday at a forum on U.S. policy toward Nigeria held at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) in Washington, D.C. Even better, we have troops on the ground there operating under more bizarre restrictions. We are suppose to be out there looking for the girls.

What else would you expect from a President who began his political career in the home of two unrepentant domestic terrorists? A man who is also the friend of an Al Fatah terrorist, and who was raised in a Madrassa as a Muslim and will not stand against Jihad. This is why he has road blocked Israel at every juncture, and why he disrespected Netanyahu by leaving him sitting alone at the White House while the President excused himself and went and had dinner with his family without telling him where he was going or why.

Anti-Semitism runs deep in the leftist heart. From Debbie Wasserman-Schultz to John Kerry, the left has no love for Israel. And yes, I know that Wasserman-Schultz is a Jew. I also know that Jews helped the SS round up their fellows for the extermination camps, so there goes that argument. The left also has no love for blacks who do not tow the line. All one has to do is to examine the comments said by the leftist foot soldiers to see that is true.

From the Pentagon we see only love for the Jihadist and none for the Christian or Jew. The Navy recently removed Bibles from rooms and then put them back when their hand was caught in the cookie jar, so to speak. The Army held a concert celebrating atheism. I could give you several more examples, but the space is limited.

I believe that this is rooted in something far older and far more sinister. I believe that such support of terror is evil through and through, and not evil in the secondary sense. One can watch the ripples as they spread across the world in a vortex of darkness. Obama fails to act in Syria and as a result the Ukraine loses the Crimea and ISIS sets up shop in Iraq and the slaughter of the Infidel begins. Ronald Reagan won the Cold War, but now it would seem that the empty suits in Washington have returned us to a new Cold War with an aggressive Russia that sees the U.S. as weak and dithering. Cause and effect. Even NATO is fearful of what may be coming and is eyeing the Baltic states warily. This is the world that the left has given us after two elections.

Israel is alone with it’s armament shipments blocked by the President and terror is encouraged, American debt is unsustainable, the American people are now poised to deliver a lesser nation to their children than they received from their parents, and the U.S. military is being cut back to pre-World War II levels in a world that is far more dangerous than it was in the 1930’s as evidenced by the attacks on September 11th. In short, we have been crippled by the left. What Jimmy Carter began, President Obama has finished.

The question has often been asked, what would happen if America were absent from world affairs? I think that we now have an answer to that question. But we have known that answer for a long time. When good is absent, evil flourishes. If I were the devil, I would do it exactly as the left has done it since the 1960’s and my greatest obstacle to dominion would be neutralized, just as it is today.

That is why I recognize what we see today as primary evil. The road to this place has been long and torturous. It has been rife with bumps and hiccups and only a preternatural will could have stayed the course. From Marx to Alinsky to Obama, one can connect the dots and see the whole for what it truly is, and it isn’t pretty. We have been taught this lesson before, but we failed to learn it and each time we fail that lesson, death arrives for the toll of our folly.

Whether we like it or not, we are the policeman of the world. We established this nation in the name of Almighty God. We therefore assumed the mantle of good and by so doing, we became the mortal foe of evil. But that requires leadership and action. Ultimately we have to choose which side we are on, good or evil.

Thanks again for your cogent comment. The fall of Egypt to Russia IMO portends an even more ominous situation. Gaining control of the Suez Canal has been a dream of theirs since its building..indeed,. it is a power struggle against the evil forces in the world..
