Obama re: Iraq- tells leadership: ‘I don’t need your stinking approval’

Just a photo-op at the WH for our Commander in thief. I wonder if Boehner questioned Obama on his perspective. This from no less than CNN. The truth of the matter, “Clueless” is remaining clueless. So much for equal branches of government. Congress gets the finger once again.

Washington (CNN) — I’ll let you know what’s going on, but I don’t need new congressional authority to act, President Barack Obama told congressional leaders Wednesday about his upcoming decision on possible military intervention in Iraq.
The White House meeting sounded more like a listening session for the top Republicans and Democrats in the House and Senate about options for helping Iraq’s embattled Shiite government halt the lightning advance of Sunni Islamist fighters toward Baghdad that Obama is considering.

Obama “did not give us an array of actions he was planning to take,” Pelosi said. “He just talked about his perspective on what was happening there.”
A few hours earlier, Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel and Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Gen. Martin Dempsey said they were working out details on possible U.S. steps that could include airstrikes on Sunni militants advancing through northern Iraq.

Here is a bonus that will surely reassure you that the State Dept is on top things in that part of the world. The State Department pressers are covered with much better correspondents, and the spokespeople are right out of “Valley Girl.”  ED:(Hey dude– I think we are arming the terrorists!”) Here is a taste.

Why am I not surprised by this?! Honestly I think it is time to get the hell out of the region and let them kill each other, there is no reason to lose another American life in a fight which we cannot win.

Why of course eighth century Nike wearing murderers running amok in Obama’s democratic republic of Iraq is different than those in Syria which is why he didn’t draw a red line in Iraq.
While he may vacillate over his Muddle east Islamic Spring policy at least his people in the patent office were able to stop those racist Washington Redskins dead in their tracks on the same day he attended the LGBT fundraiser in New York. Uhm Uhm uhm

David Petraeus just got behind Obama’s handling of the situation. So while you cons pretend your silly superficial critiques matter, the President is trying to work toward a serious solution to a very serious problem, the core of which you guys have no interest. You just whine and pine for another stupid jingoistic pandering idiot in the White House. Looks like you’re going to have to wait at least another 10 years for that, and by then the demographics will probably render that an impossibility – thank God.

Letting them all go to hell really isn’t an option. The problem with Obama being in charge we really don’t have any options. I we attempt anything, with him in charge, he will just make a mess of it.

Unfortunately, we have never had an easy solution. Islam is what it is, the perfect religion for a despotic state. Put oil money in the hands of a terrorist despot, and them is not the only thems “going to hell.”

Probably the best solution is to what we should be doing anyway, teach “them” about Christianity. How? Since they kill Christians, that isn’t going be easy, but they are trying to kill us anyway.

I am also fine with backing off, but I understand that Obama may feel he has no choice but to intervene if things get too wacky.

After all, that’s quite a mess you cons got us into over there.

You make good points Tom. It is either blast them to wherever, no longer lose men and women with not the intent to decimate them. They will be coming our way and soon.
