State Department: Those who served with Bergdahl don’t know what they’re talking about

I happened to catch the State Department presser yesterday. If we thought that the comment regarding Benghazi, “Hey dude, that was a couple of years ago,” showed the snarky attitude, try this one on for size. These drones just reflect the arrogance of this regime.

Free Beacon

State Department deputy spokeswoman Marie Harf engaged in a heated exchange Tuesday with a reporter over the circumstances surrounding Army Sergeant Bowe Bergdahl’s capture five years ago, saying she does not think his squad mates have the best idea of what happened when he disappeared.

When Fox News reporter Lucas Tomlinson asked, “Does the State Department consider Sergeant Bergdahl to be a deserter?” Harf replied, “The State Department — no, Lucas. Look, what we’ve said is we are going to learn the facts about what happened here.”

“He’s been in captivity, Lucas. I think he’s probably the person who knows best what happened on that night,” Harf said.

Tomlinson shot back, “Well, I think his squad mates have the best indication what happened that night.”

“I don’t think that that’s the case,” Harf responded.

Mr Jersey McJones appears to be living proof that the democrat is the only specie of rat that does not desert a sinking ship. To answer those out there who may wonder if Mr Jersey McJones is typical of today’s mainstream in this state that once was a great place in which to grow up and live, I will state unequivocally yes, assuming he is from New Jersey. If not from New Jersey surely he resides in one of the other 57 states infected with the incurable disease known as Liberalism.

I have been trying to keep an open mind about this but as more and more of the people who served with him come out against him you have to believe they know what they are talking about–regardless of what the State Department would have us believe, they have their own agenda!

Jeebus, ValJar’s nose is now Pinnochio wrapping itself around the world. That dunce that is called POTUS is a pathetic excuse for the term leader. I cannot begin to tell you how disheartened those men that served with that coward are feeling. This WH has betrayed those who serve to protect. Simply disgusting.

    Meanwhile, in Bizarro world:
“After the police apprehended the suspect, the police captain instructed the press that (A) this case was five years old, (B) there were lots of “rumors” floating around, and (C) they’d all best be served by relying primarily on the suspect’s account of what happened.”

Yep, that logic makes PERFECT sense to me, B-ville….

This happened over 5 years ago, there is no investigation that is happening or going to be implemented. The facts are already out there, his fellow soldiers already know the situation. What is happening now is he’s being debriefed & the military is deciding what kind of action to take against someone that obviously deserted, at least. Collaborated, most likely.
If ever there was a case that was rightly tried in the media & the court of public opinion; it is this one.

Probably the court of public opinion is about the only court he will see. There is not a doubt that there has been a full investigation of this traitor. But the Obama regime always comes to this, we can’t talk about it because it is under investigation.

Not even the Administration can stop some things, without severe consequences. This would be one of those cases where it would be folly to interfere. Were he to pardon or request no actions taken against a deserter, it would not go well for Obama. The components that make up our government, agencies & military have a life of their own. One does not disrupt power that has been delegated.

It doesn’t matter. I can understand why we came for him, and if a Republican President had done so, you guys would understand too. But the hatred of Obama causes selective retardation.

A Republican president wouldn’t have made such an unequal swap. This one outdoes every stupid swap in history. Your pathetic president has yet again, made himself vulnerable to those that oppose him, for love of country. I would say, the only retards in this issue, are moronic libs who’ve decided to party too soon before seeing what’s going on. You’re one of them, obviously. Even your Lib media is starting to wake up over this stupidity. That’s what really gets your goat now, isn’t it. That people are jumping ship right & left. Your president is the worst, in modern US history & you can’t even get everyone in your own big government, tax & spend ideology to agree on each of his ongoing blunders. Good luck. Maybe… think more. You’re certainly no example of liberals that used to trash big government & intrusion. You support it.

I do know what I’m talking about, Lib. No such unequal swap trading 5 high value prisoners to the enemy for one low value has EVER been done before. I’m a mature adult, who grew up through the height of the Cold War. This is the worst trade ever & it has put your precious thing in the White House in a position of vulnerability to those opposing his socialist BS. The list of prominent Dems (Liberals) is growing. I suggest you take a look at it.

When these fine folks murder again, think back to what you wrote. This is not about Bergdahl, but about the treacherous murderous terrorists that Obama let go. Two of which are wanted by of all organizations, the UN for war crimes. One is responsible for over 7000 deaths. Enjoy.

It’s happened before, and it may well happen again. The idea here (if you knew what you were taking about, you’d know this) is that the war will be wound down before these schmucks can get back to the front.

        they were back at the ‘front’ as soon as they finished hugging their buds when they de-planed in qatar;
they have been in ‘front’ of lap-tops, sat phones and mosques, that’s all they need jersey.

righteous folks will die or walk the rest of their lives on titanium legs ’cause of this administrations capitulation to the taliban, vis~a~vis mr. karsai (yes he said he was pissed off, according to reuters,

so jersey, i’ve followed your comments and predilection to partisan politics over the years at mr. camwell’s

There was an investigation. OF course, we will have to have another one that will take a year to two. Just read what is out there including the NY Times and one can come to a pretty good conclusion.
