10,000 Syrian children dead after red line, but we will find Nigerian Children

When I heard that Lurch AKA John Kerry had taken his political side-show to Africa  last week after clearly flailing about in the Middle East and elsewhere, we had to know that Africa had to be the next attention distraction . Kerry Urges Steps to Ensure Democracy in Africa – ABC News.

Look, I am sympathetic to the hundreds of missing girls kidnapped by Boko Haram in Nigeria. They have been missing for months. Why now the attention? And how about the 10,000 children that have been killed and tortured in Syria? Interesting that we hear precious little about Obama/Clinton’s failed Syrian policy, but now the drum beats for Nigeria. So Obama wants to be a hero, and the media is lapping it up. Meanwhile we will destabilize more countries as the Democracy rhetoric beats louder as was done in the Arab Spring.

More than 10,000 children have been killed in the Syrian civil war, the United Nations says, while many more are subjected to “unspeakable” suffering, including rape, torture and recruitment for combat.

Thousands more have also been forced to flee their homes during the three-year conflict, according to a report released this week to the Security Council and posted on the UN website.

More importantly, those in the State Department refuse to admit it is the  Muslims creating a war against Christians  in Nigeria, and have been slaughtering them for years.

Religion Is Not Driving violence in Nigeria After Islamists Slaughter 39 Christians April 11, 2012 — bunkerville

Another Dangerous Team Obama Idiot: State Official Says Religion Is Not Driving Extremist Violence in Nigeria – After Islamists Slaughter 39 Christians, reads the headline.

Where do they find these nut jobs?
Assistant Secretary of State for African Affairs Johnnie Carson told an audience on Monday that religion is not driving the extremist violence in Nigeria after the Islamist group Boko Haram took credit for slaughtering 39 Christians at Easter services on Sunday.
CNS News has the clip. H/T: Gateway Pundit

“While some seek to inflame Muslim-Christian tensions, Nigeria’s ethnic and religious diversity, like our own in this country, is a source of strength, not weakness,” he added,  “and there are many examples across Nigeria of communities working across religious lines to protect one another.”

The Islamist group Boko Haram took credit for the attack. They declared war on Christians in December.

Similarly, on Christmas Day, the Nigerian Islamist terrorist group, Boko Haram, attacked a Catholic church in that country, killing more than 40 people.

CIA Factbook:

Muslims are 52% and reside mostly at the Northern part of the country. Christians form about 47 to 48% and reside majorly in the Southern part of the country.

Asst. Secretary of State Johnnie Carson  “ I want to take this opportunity to stress one key point and that is that religion is not driving extremist violence either in Jos, or northern Nigeria,” Assistant  Secretary of State Carson said Monday at a forum on U.S. policy toward Nigeria held at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) in Washington, D.C. ED. (So much fo his insight)

Last Friday, ahead of the Easter attacks, the United States Commission on International Religious Freedom (USCIRF)issued a press release expressing “deep concern” about threats from Boko Haram before the Christian holiday and described the group as espousing “an extreme and violent interpretation of Islam.”

“These threats,” USCIRF Chairman Leonard Leo said, “should be taken seriously, especially given Boko Haram’s coordinated attacks on Christmas Day, when suicide bombers attacked churches in five different cities in central and northern Nigeria.” CNS News

More over at Hot Air:

Did Hillary refuse to designate Boko Haram as a terrorist organization?

Josh Rogin at The Daily Beast reported last night that the State Department was asked repeatedly during her tenure as Secretary of State to add it to their list of terrorist organizations — but refused to do so:

What Clinton didn’t mention was that her own State Department refused to place Boko Haram on the list of foreign terrorist organizations in 2011, after the group bombed the UN headquarters in Abuja. The refusal came despite the urging of the Justice Department, the FBI, the CIA, and over a dozen Senators and Congressmen.

“The one thing she could have done, the one tool she had at her disposal, she didn’t use. And nobody can say she wasn’t urged to do it. It’s gross hypocrisy,” said a former senior U.S. official who was involved in the debate. “The FBI, the CIA, and the Justice Department really wanted Boko Haram designated, they wanted the authorities that would provide to go after them, and they voiced that repeatedly to elected officials.”

Here a bonus to the story:

In December 2010, David Plouffe received $100,000 for two speeches in Nigeria from an affiliate of the South African telecommunications company MTN Group. At the time, MTN had been doing business with thegovernment of Iran since 2005. Recently, MTN has come under increased scrutiny by the U.S. for allegations that the Iranian government has used the MTN network in the country to track and monitor dissidents. MTN has been listed on the “Iran Business Registry” of prominent watchdog group United Against Nuclear Iran since 2009.[17]  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Plouffe

From LWashington Post:David Plouffe , a senior White House adviser who was President Obama’s 2008 campaign manager, accepted a $100,000 speaking fee in 2010 from an affiliate of a company doing business with Iran’s government.

Since Plouffe’s speeches, MTN Group has come under intensified scrutiny from U.S. authorities because of its activities in Iran and Syria, which are under international sanctions intended to limit the countries’ access to sensitive technology. At the time of Plouffe’s speeches, MTN had been in a widely reported partnership for five years with a state-owned Iranian telecommunications firm.

Bunker what do you think is this Regime’s definition of ‘democracy’ – in truth!
    {There needs to be another dictionary written to truly ‘depict’ what they mean – besides just flipping them over to the opposite!}
We know Democracy is not what they’re purporting because the evidence – of ‘what it isn’t’ – is clear in what they’re doing in (former) America.
Perspective: The attributes of man’s sinful nature explain the spiritual manifestation in play today: “The voluntary departure of a moral agent from a known rule of rectitude or duty, prescribed by God; any voluntary transgression of the divine law, or violation of a divine command; a wicked act / iniquity.”
Just because they don’t believe The God of Creation [relationship, not religion], their unbelief doesn’t, nor ‘can their power of believing’ change the reality and truth that HE IS & that their saying, ‘NO’ to God just proves Him all the righter!: “the carnal mind or mindedness, which is enmity against God, and is therefore denominated sin or sinfulness.”
We’ve been ‘taught’ to ‘believe’ that man’s nature is basically good. Good acting people are easier to control and manipulate, but godly people … humm, prove more challenging, esp. when the have the ‘mind of Christ’ working inside of them. Then they’re, ‘baa aaadd’ and terrorist! [That’s why Paul stated, “… I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me:” Gal 2:20 He too, remember, was imprisoned by the pompous religious rulers & Gov. of his day.]

Follow the money. David Plouffe has his long paid fingers in this. Obama wants to be a hero and have a kill like Osama. Obama would like nothing better than to have the Muslims take over, no doubt.

The mainstream media have been late to this story about the Nigerian children.

For weeks on the web (on the “Islamophobic” sites that I have been frequenting since 9/11), I’ve been reading about the atrocities perpetrated on Nigerian Christians.

So, why is the cause being taken up now? I’m sorry to say that it’s happening as a diversion tactic.

Remember that we are living in Orwellian Times. The Ministry of Truth has arrived!
