Rock groups to now pick on ‘apartheid’ Israel – Pink Floyd calls for ban

This is how it starts. This will be the new Progressive move. Yes, apartheid will now be the accepted reality when discussing Israel. Thanks Kerry. You are sure doing swell as Secretary of State. Would Pink Floyd ever have considered taking this position??

JTA reports:

Two founding members of the Pink Floyd rock band called on their colleagues from The Rolling Stones to cancel a concert in Israel.

Roger Waters and Nick Mason made the call in an op-ed that was published Thursday on Salon.com.

“Playing Israel now is the moral equivalent of playing Sun City at the height of South African apartheid,” wrote the men, who described themselves as “the two surviving founders of Pink Floyd.”

The op-ed says it was written in light of “the recent news that the Rolling Stones will be playing their first-ever concert in Israel, and at what is a critical time in the global struggle for Palestinian freedom and equal rights.”

The Stones are scheduled to perform June 4 at Tel Aviv’s Hayarkon Park.

it’s a shame they are not going there – maybe they would learn something about the subject matter. With the likes of Obama, Kerry and Biden on the point of foreign policy, we are in one deep hole. Apartheid? I don’t recall that blacks were a part of the South African government? Only in Israel is there reasonable harmony among Jews and Arabs. And Kerry waves apartheid around, because Israel backs out of the talks when the Palestinians choose to form a government with Hamas? Stupidity is too kind a word for Mr. Kerry.

Roger Waters raked in $190 million from “The Wall ” in 2012 alone. All that money must pussy whip the brain into thinking Progressive. And surely a naive unsophisticated vie if the real world doesn’t hurt either. Now what do I do with my two original Dark Side of The Moon albums?

Here we go again! Isn’t it amazing the way the entertainment industry picks up on all of this and forwards the progressive propaganda? Amazing really isn’t the right word because it is expected, however it must be nice to have them in your back pocket because of the influence they unfortunately have with the young people.

Any main street media website I’ve been to the last few months has a picture at the bottom of the article of who is Miss Israel. Huh?

Oh man. What a dilemma. Can one still listen to the music of a group who holds, and advocates for, positions with which one does not agree? What to do, what to do?

It takes pressure off Israel, now they don’t have to acquiesce to some sort of lopsided deal with the arabs.
