Girls Scouts promote pro-abortionist Wendy Davis

As if our falling birth rate wasn’t enough for insure the decline of the United States, let’s have the Girl Scouts praise pro-abortion politician Wendy Davis from Texas. There was a time when the Girl Scouts instilled values conducive to a decent life. Now the organization is becoming nothing more than an arm of the Progressive movement. Recall  Girl Scouts, the EPA and the ‘Forever February 11, 2011

 Green Pledge’

The Girl Scouts of the USA (GSUSA) developed the campaign with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. But Michelle Tompkins, a spokeswoman for the national office of the Girl Scouts of the USA, told CNSNews.com the pledge was not a case of the organization aligning itself with the Obama administration.

“The pledge shown on our Web site is just…to show girls a possible way of advocacy, and there will not be – we won’t take sides either way on this matter,” she said. Surely you jest! Here is the Pledge (The pledge has been removed)

EPA Site :  Linking Girls to the Land–LGTTL partnership offers travel opportunities, funding, awards, resources, and trainings to support this vision.

The Girl Scouts of the United States of America has launched a campaign called Forever Green that included an online pledgegirls could sign, promising they would encourage public officials to pass emissions-reducing legislation

Getting back to my story:

The U.S. fertility rate fell to another record low in 2012, with 63.0 births per 1,000 women ages 15 to 44 years old, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. It marked the fifth year in a row the U.S. birth rate has declined, and the lowest rate on record since the government started tracking the fertility rate in 1909. In 2007, the rate was 69.3. from Money.cnn

Weasel Zippers gives us this fine gem:

Because shouldn’t every young girl aspire to be a pro-abortion fanatic?

Via CNS News:

The Girl Scouts of America tweeted a link last month to a Huffington Post article and video panel discussion that praises pro-abortion politician Wendy Davis (D-Texas.)

The Girl Scouts of America tweet on Dec. 18 says, “Is there anyone you’d add to this list? Incredible Ladies Who Should Be Women Of The Year For 2013 http://huff.to/1cPjrlU via @HuffPostWomen.”

The Huffington Post article, “Incredible Ladies Who Should Be Women of the Year for 2013,” includes part of a HuffPost Live video panel discussion, and talks about “which woman was the definitive standard bearer for females in 2013,” and states that “[t]he ladies in contention ran the gamut from Beyonce to Wendy Davis to the millions of intelligent women airing their views on Twitter ….”

That’s what these 21st century pagans have been trying to do to the Boy Scouts.

Damn. No more Girl Scout Cookies for this household. Maybe Trader Joe’s has something to substitute for those thin mint cookies that the GSA sells.

The left has already infiltrated the media and the schools but they have been unable to infiltrate the church, the Boy Scouts, and the Girl Scouts. They are now attempting to infiltrate these organizations as well: they have gone after the church through Obamacare, have bullied the Boy Scouts into accepting gays, and are now pushing their agenda on the Girl Scouts. Soon there will be no escaping the liberal agenda.

Kudos to the left and their scorched earth policy. The unions, the health care and insurance industries, The Boy Scouts, the catholic seminaries, the La Leche League, the universities, high schools, grammar schools, Pre-K, professional sports, Dennis Rodman, the Pope… and now the Girl Scouts of America. These guys are good, leaving no stone unturned.

Only thing left out that I can think of is pre school. Then of course the next step, the government takes care of the babies at birth. De Blasio will try this out for sure.
