Sen. Enzi Predicted Obamacare Failures Three Years Ago

Just for the record. Please pass this on to Bill O’Reilly and many in the MSM who insists the regime just hadn’t gotten the hang of the bill, and were in the dark about the effects on millions of Americans. Then have these same folks take a look at the Enzi video where he predicted back on 2010 exactly what has happened.

Earlier this week I posted Obama video proves that he knew millions would lose insurance coverage. The setting is the February of 2010 health care summit with Republicans. Minority Whip Eric Cantor is addressing the president directly on the issue of people losing their insurance due to the Affordable Care Act:

OBAMA:  Since you asked me a question, let me respond. The 8 to 9 million people you refer to that might have to change their coverage — keep in mind out of the 300 million Americans that we are talking about — would be folks who the CBO, the Congressional Budget Office,  estimates would find the deal in the exchange better — would be a better deal. So, yes, they would change coverage because they got more choice and competition.

Notes from the video: Henry Ford said that customers could have his Model T in any color they wanted as long as it was black. Sounds similar to what the president has promised with health care. If you like your current plan you can keep it, as long as it’s a model we choose. I pointed out three years ago that the Administration had started us down this path, which is why I offered a resolution that would have given people the honest choice to keep their plans. Despite several warnings, everyone in the majority party in the Senate voted against it.  We have a bill that would give them another chance to keep their promise. They need to support us this time

BHO’s protest that he didn’t know how hard getting ObamaCare off the ground rings so hollow that I don’t have a powerful enough simile or metaphor for an analogy.

Anyone who was paying attention knew a year ago…no memo needed to go out. Unfortunately, our country has become lazy when it comes to preparation for anything. Our younger generation only lives in the moment. This is a shocker.

Few have an interest in politics these days. I recall when we all studied Civics. I doubt that this is even covered. Senior years class trip was to D.C. And a meeting with our senator and Rep.

Politics in school now is extreme liberal left gobbletigook. Kids can’t read, but they feel the urge to occupy what others have created. That is the Dep of Ed’s mantra…take it without working for it.

Because Mika B, with her ever stupefied glazed over “WTF was that” look on her face, has nice legs she belongs on FOX. She could be Lou Costello to Bill’s Byd Abbot.

Those of us who took economics 101 in college could have predicted what was coming down the pike. Unlike Obeyme, numbers don’t lie, basic economics does’t lie, human nature doesn’t lie. As for O’Reilly’s schizophrenic approach to defending this administration’s motives or lack thereof, his rap is getting old. Bill’s narcissism is matched only by Obeyme himself.

Megyn Kelly will soon outshine O’Reilly. Still. many remain in denial about what this whole miserable thing is about. The Insurance companies will have their head on a plate before this is over. Greed over took their judgement.

Henry Ford was a fraternal brother of the Freemasons and wanted men to live their lives in sobriety and be responsible people, so he took an active hand in matters. He fired those not willing to go along with his, program. It only increased alcoholism and fueled forbidden lusts. It was a mess, and Ford, in many circles, was not exactly seen as a good guy and more of a tyrant. It probably would have happened anyway, but meddling makes it worse.

I hear your thoughts on Ford. Still many went along with the puritan aspects of living at the time. Prohibition became law. I think Enzi was focusing on the choice of black as an option. I am no fan of the robber barrons. Thanks for the link.

Correct. They choice of black, means that it is only as Ford saw fit, and there was, no other option. Enzi, draws attention to that important aspect, because if anyone is out of lockstep, there will be a price to be paid.
        Very revealing.
