Benghazi hearings receive little coverage – why?

I spent the whole day yesterday watching the Benghazi hearings. There was plenty of new information that was worthy of reporting. The only thing that really that got attention was the fact that the Dems walked out on the families of the victims. Very few clips of the hearing are available unless you want to watch the whole hearing which is out there. They say they might bring Hillary back. Don’t hold your breath.

This is about as good a clip as one can get below. What wasn’t made clear was that Mullen was in touch with Clinton’s attorney from the beginning and gave a heads up within two days of the appointment of the panel that Charlene Lamb would be a poor witness.

It is a sorry affair that the media including the conservative press chose to ignore important new facts. Drudge? You let us down as well as the rest of the MSM. Endless revelations that will never see the light of day apparently.

You might try Admiral Mullen denies Stand Down Order given, admits Special Ops told to hold in place  Let stop with the parsing of words guys, okay?

Testifying before the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, Admiral Mike Mullen said that the direction given to Special Operations Command Africa commander Lt. Col Gibson was to “hold in place” on the night of the attacks.

Gibson is the boss of Gregory Hicks, the former deputy chief of mission in Libya who had testified that a “stand down” order was given to Special Forces who wanted to help Americans who were under assault in Libya.

It is absolutely despicable that all but two Democrats walked out of those hearings. Talk about partisanship! Sheesh.

I agree with you, Bunkerville, that the media all along the political spectrum failed to report the important testimony that you have told us about in this blog post.

Sickening! I guess everyone is tired of covering this, including many of the conservative websites and blogs. I am with you, I do not think we will ever get to the bottom of this and that is sad. I can’t even begin to imagine how these parents feel knowing that nobody cares what happened to their children.

I’m very suspicious of all this. It would not surprise me to learn most of the Republicans want all this to go away just as much as the Democrats, but hold these sham ‘hearings’ in order to placate the outraged. The question would then be why do they want it to go away too?

I have the same sinking feeling. For over a day I googled Benghazi and almost nothing. My go to aggregators were not covering any posts since apparently few were written. Go figure.

How very sad, my friend. The families of the four betrayed Americans deserve so much more. The Obama administration knew that if they dodged and weaved long enough, the media would get tired of the non-story. They win and America loses again.
