Obama mocks us, laughs at us over Pipeline

This one really ticked me off. Maybe it was the morons sitting behind Obama smiling as he spoke, forgetting that their  a**es are getting gored every time they go to the gas pumps to fill up their cars.

Maybe it was his Rasputinesque grin, evil to the core as he lied through a faux smile.

In the end, it was his mocking us, smirking at us, knowing exactly what he was doing and no one gives a darn and he knows it.

And you know who else is laughing at us? Why good old Warren Buffet as he makes his millions off of his Railroads.  Lets all sing along with Warren as he wishes China a great new year working on the Railroads. Throw in the Rockefellers as well.

Warren Buffett’s Burlington Northern Santa Fe LLC is among U.S. and Canadian railroads that stand to benefit from the Obama administration’s decision to reject TransCanada Corp. (TRP)’s Keystone XL oil pipeline permit.
With modest expansion, railroads can handle all new oil produced in western Canada through 2030, according to an analysis of the Keystone proposal by the U.S. State Department. (Chuckle time)!

“Whatever people bring to us, we’re ready to haul,” Krista York-Wooley, a spokeswoman for Burlington Northern, a unit of Buffett’s Omaha, Nebraska-based Berkshire Hathaway Inc. (BRK/A), said in an interview. If Keystone XL “doesn’t happen, we’re here to haul.” From: Bloomberg

US billionaire Warren Buffett has appeared singing and playing the ukulele on Chinese state television. The billionaire popped up on CCTV and wished the people of China “a happy new year.” The Lunar New Year of the Dragon begins at midnight on Sunday. “Your country has accomplished amazing things, and the best is yet to come,” Buffett told the broadcaster. The investor is well respected in China for his financial success.

The keystone pipeline is actually just one of several oil sands pipelines targeted by the Rockefeller Brother’s Fund. Ezra Levant calls it industrial sabotage and, based on their own Power Point, that certainly seems an apt description. H/T: Heritage  From Rockefeller Fund sabotages Keystone pipeline approval. The Rockefeller Brother’s Fund in a coordinated, 4-year, $28 million dollar campaign was on the march to defeat it.

The Keystone Pipeline project was expected to create tens of thousands of high paying jobs in the oil industry. The project itself would create 20,000 construction jobs. And the pipeline would bring oil from Canada and North Dakota to refineries in the United States.

But it was just a big pipe dream. Obama rejected the plan. (Bob McCarty)

Today Barack Obama mocked Republicans for pushing Keystone pipeline, a no brainer. Obama says the pipeline would only create 50 jobs. He’s not just offensive, he’s an idiot.

Obama proclaims ‘Lawyers, I don’t need lawyers’

For those still wondering how Obama justifies his taking his clearly unconstitutional actions we have the answer here. The man has no shame. It simply is because it’s for the good of his subjects. And that is how he perceives each and every one of us. When are we going to take this fellow to court??

Byron York, found an amazing bit buried in the NYT’s interview with The One

In an interview after his speech Wednesday in Galesburg, Illinois, President Obama was asked if he consulted White House lawyers before unilaterally delaying the employer mandate in Obamacare. Since Congress, in the Affordable Care Act, specified that the mandate is going into effect at the start of next year, reporters from the New York Times asked if the president investigated whether he had the legal authority to put it off without going through Congress.

Obama’s response to his action?  “because I said so” and this is not the first time he involved his so called clause, he decided to continue his intervention in Libya even though his own lawyers concluded that he had no power to do so under the War Powers Act.

NYT: People questioned your legal and constitutional authority to do that unilaterally — to delay the employer mandate. Did you consult with your lawyer?

MR. OBAMA: Jackie, if you heard me on stage today, what I said was that I will seize any opportunity I can find to work with Congress to strengthen the middle class, improve their prospects, improve their security –

NYT: No, but specifically –

MR. OBAMA: — but where Congress is unwilling to act, I will take whatever administrative steps that I can in order to do right by the American people.

And if Congress thinks that what I’ve done is inappropriate or wrong in some fashion, they’re free to make that case. But there’s not an action that I take that you don’t have some folks in Congress who say that I’m usurping my authority. Some of those folks think I usurp my authority by having the gall to win the presidency. And I don’t think that’s a secret. But ultimately, I’m not concerned about their opinions — very few of them, by the way, are lawyers, much less constitutional lawyers.

I am concerned about the folks who I spoke to today who are working really hard, are trying to figure out how they can send their kids to college, are trying to make sure that they can save for their retirement. And if I can take steps on their behalf, then I’m going to do so. And I would hope that more and more of Congress will say, you know what, since that’s our primary focus, we’re willing to work with you to advance those ideals. But I’m not just going to sit back if the only message from some of these folks is no on everything, and sit around and twiddle my thumbs for the next 1,200 days.

A moment earlier, Obama likened his move to “the kind of routine modifications or tweaks to a large program that’s starting off.” Criticism of his exercise of executive authority in this matter, he suggested, is more the result of a “frenzy” among Republicans than anything he has done.

Early American hero Larry Grathwohl dies, whose warning was disregarded

The name Larry Grathwohl will probably ring few bells with most. One of early patriots of the 1960’s who paid a dear price for wanting to be one of our good guys. Willing to infiltrate into the belly of the beast and hung with Bill Ayers, Bernadette Dorn, the Weather Underground and other assorted radicals that wanted our system of government to come to an end. A prophetic warning was given by him. Had any real attention been given, we would not be dealing with our present regime. Obama and his fellow subversives  never would have come to power.

Front Page Mag gives a worthy rendition  of his life and times and he deserves to be given a fitting remembrance.  I will add this video interview of him.  Just think about what he said, and how close we are coming to the Weatherground’s objective.

A great patriot who suffered and risked everything he had to defend the United States of America by infiltrating the Weather Underground terrorist group in the late 1960s, died suddenly last week.

Born in Cincinnati on Oct. 13, 1947, Larry David Grathwohl was a highly decorated Vietnam War veteran.

In his recently reissued work, Bringing Down America, a fascinating 1976 book he co-wrote with the late Frank Reagan, Grathwohl summed up why he took the unusual step of joining the Weather Underground in order to undermine it. He feared these New Left revolutionary communists might actually make headway with their totalitarian program.

“The Weathermen’s government will be one of total control over each individual in the society,” he wrote. “In Weathermen terminology, this new society will be ‘one people working in total unity.’”

“This means an elimination of all the individual freedoms we are accustomed to having; it was my absolute belief in the freedoms offered by our form of government that drove me to fight the Weathermen in the first place. Even though I am no longer in the underground movement where I could help prevent violence before it happened, as in Dayton, Detroit, Madison, and Buffalo, while creating as much disunity as possible, I am still working against Weathermen and other radical conspiracies. Their way of life is not mine.”

After fighting Communists abroad, he decided to fight them at home. He returned to America after serving in the U.S. Army’s 101st Airborne Division and took it upon himself to infiltrate the group, joining the Weatherman collective in Cincinnati. In his clandestine enterprise he rose quickly, aided by his perceived authenticity as a working class Vietnam vet, unlike the spoiled rich-kid draft resisters who ran the organization.

The story of Grathwohl is very much also the story of Bill Ayers.

For reasons that historians will argue about for decades to come, the revelation that socialist Barack Hussein Obama was close personal friends with unrepentant Weather Underground bombers Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn failed to torpedo Obama’s presidential bid. In fact, it caused little more than a ripple at the time in the mainstream media and only came up when alleged journalist George Stephanopoulos, a longtime Bill and Hillary Clinton loyalist, raised the disturbing connection during a primary-season presidential debate to hurt Obama’s campaign.

Grathwohl’s daring venture into the bowels of the anti-American Left showed that the subversives of the Weather Underground Organization (WUO), which grew out of the Students for a Democratic Society (SDS) splinter group Weatherman, worked with Cuba and the governments of other hostile foreign nations.

In 1969, Weather Underground founders Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn (who were to become Pres. Obama’s personal friends and associates for many years) put Charles Manson on the cover of their occasional newspaper, “Fire”. At what was billed as a “War Council” in Flint Michigan that same year, Ayers and his comrades took to greeting eachother with “the fork” – three fingers pointed upwards, in honor of Manson. (Google Dohrn’s Flint conference quote on Manson – and Sharon Tate, who was 8 1/2 months pregnant at the time.) In 1972 Ayers dedicated the WU’s manifesto, “Prairie Fire”, to his cultural and political heroes — a list which included Sen. Robert Kennedy’s assassin, Sirhan Sirhan.

Throughout their career as terrorist bombers, Ayers and Dohrn were constantly trying to break the Left free of its “bourgeois” commitment to any standard of justice or decency. By adopting Charles Manson as their own, by praising Manson as a hero of the counterculture, they hoped to smash the Left’s “bourgeois” ties to civilization and thus spark similar acts of horrific “revolutionary” violence against innocent people.

Over 400 people attended that Flint conference. Can’t help but wonder what positions they have now, unknown to anyone but each other…

Dictator Obama waives Congressional ban on Aid to Palestine

If you are feeling anything like me, I am plum wore out! But I could not resist looking for his Friday zinger to the American people. This time, throw in Israel. Congress? What Congress. Obama dispatches them once again.

Here is the usual Friday dump belly laugh:

An administration official said the president will send $148 million to the Palestinian Authority, calling it “the most immediate and efficient means of helping the PA maintain and build the foundations of a viable, peaceful Palestinian state.”

Via Washington Times:

President Obama on Friday afternoon ordered another waiver of congressional restrictions on direct funding of the Palestinian Authority, clearing the way for more U.S. aid.

In the one-page order, Mr. Obama said he was taking the action due to the “national security interests” of the U.S. The move comes as the administration is preparing to host renewed direct talks in Washington between Palestinians and Israelis for the first time since 2010.

The president in March directed about $500 million to be sent to the Palestinian Authority, also waiving the restrictions set by Congress. At the time, Secretary of State John F. Kerry said he was seeking to move another $200 million to the Palestinians.

Justin Amash [R-MI3]        on July 24, 2013

WASHINGTON — The House narrowly rejected a challenge to the National Security Agency’s secret collection of hundreds of millions of Americans’ phone records Wednesday night after a fierce debate pitting privacy rights against the government’s efforts to thwart terrorism.

The vote was 217-205 on an issue that created unusual political coalitions in Washington, with libertarian-leaning conservatives and liberal Democrats pressing for the change against the Obama administration, the Republican establishment and Congress’ national security experts.

Backing the NSA program were 134 Republicans and 83 Democrats, including House Speaker John Boehner, R-Ohio, who typically does not vote, and Democratic leader Nancy Pelosi. Rejecting the administration’s last-minute pleas to spare the surveillance operation were 94 Republicans and 111 Democrats. Dallas News

General Ham, why were forces not deployed in Benghazi??

Does anyone really believe that General Carter Ham just sat around thinking nothing could be done when in fact the attack on Benghazi was still going on in full force? One has to give much thought as to why our military wants to support this regime at any cost. The other possibility is that they are just plain stupid. He does admit that they knew it was a terrorist attack in the beginning, but then we all know that. Then again, recall the posts  Benghazi: Where are Gen. Ham and Adm. Gaouette? |  and

Obama gets rid of more Generals?

All of these men were highly decorated. Until Obama got through with them.

Marine Gen. John Allen

Gen. Mad Dog Mattis

Gen. David Patraeus

Gen. David Mc Kiernan

Gen. Stanley Mc Crystal

Gen. Carter F. Ham

Maj. Gen. Ralph Baker

Gen. William “Kip” Ward,

Rear Admiral Charles Gaouette

May 11, 2013

….the latest Generals to fall were involved in Africa, closer to the charade that is going on. Keep your eye on Carter Ham, if he decides to sing it is all over. Particularly of interest is to find out if Patraeus was being blackmailed to go along with the program under threat of dismissal. Perhaps he refused in the end to be a team player. Recall The Disappearing Generals post?

Now back to this fellow General Ham.

Gen. Carter Ham, the former head of U.S. forces in Africa, has admitted that  highly trained Special Forces were stationed just a few hours away from Benghazi  on the night of the attack but were not deployed to Libya.

Ham’s explanation for why the military assets stationed abroad were not  utilized during the attack raises more questions than it provides answers about  his decision-making.

Asked why no outside forces were deployed to Benghazi during the attack, Ham  responded that after the initial assault on the U.S. special mission he believed  the attack was finished.

However, his explanation may raise questions about his stated judgment that  night, which turned out to be mortally off base. After the initial attack on the  U.S. mission, there was a second round of deadly assaults against the nearby CIA  annex, the location to which the victims of the first assaults were  evacuated.

Asked why no forces were deployed to Benghazi after the initial assault, Ham  told the Aspen Institute that “in my mind at that point, we were no longer in a  response to an attack. We were in a recovery.”

During the Sept. 11, 2012 Benghazi attack, command of the Special Forces  reportedly was transferred from the military’s European command to Ham’s  AFRICOM, or the United States Africa Command.

The Special Forces unit is known as C-110, or EUCOM CIF. It is a 40-man  Special Ops force maintained for rapid response to emergencies such as the  Benghazi attack.

Ham told the Aspen Security Forum that he first received word of the Benghazi  attack from his command post in Stuttgart, Germany. The post is where EUCOM CIF  is normally based. The night the of the Benghazi attack, the unit was on a  training mission in Croatia, as first reported by Fox News and now reconfirmed  by Ham.

Ham stated the EUCOM CIF “happened to be in Croatia at the time, there on a  six-hour notice, which is a pretty normal alert time.”

Former general: Knew early that Benghazi was terrorist attack
CNN. The former head of U.S. forces in Africa said the September 11, 2012, attack on the American mission in Benghazi quickly appeared to be a terrorist attack and not a spontaneous protest.

It was clear “pretty quickly that this was not a demonstration. This was a violent attack,” former Gen. Carter Ham told the Aspen Security Forum on Friday. Ham is the former chief of U.S. Africa Command, commonly known as AFRICOM.

IRS counsel Wilkins met Obama two days before targeting Conservatives

This just might get interesting. According to Fox news, the Senate has been investigating the IRS scandal as well as the House with Dem Baucus heading up his side of the aisle. Under the radar, with little notice, Baucus it is reported, will have much on this within a month to six weeks. So this fellow Wilkins defended old-time pal Jeremiah Wright Pro Bono. Well, well, well. So here we go:

Embattled IRS chief counsel met with Obama 2 days before agency changed  targeting criteria

The Obama appointee implicated in congressional testimony in the IRS  targeting scandal met with President Obama in the White House two days before  offering his colleagues a new set of advice on how to scrutinize tea party and  conservative groups applying for tax-exempt status.

IRS chief counsel William Wilkins, who was named in House Oversight testimony  by retiring IRS agent Carter Hull as one of his supervisors in the improper  targeting of conservative groups, met with Obama in the Roosevelt Room of the White  House on April 23, 2012.

Wilkins, who is one of only two Obama appointees at the IRS, is a former lobbyist with the firm  WilmerHale,  where he spent his time “counseling nonprofit organizations, business entities,  and investment funds on tax compliance, business transactions, and government  investigations.” At the firm, Wilkins defended Rev. Jeremiah Wright’s Chicago-based United Church of Christ from a 2008 investigation into whether  Wright violated his church’s nonprofit status by speaking in favor of Obama.  Wilkins successfully defended Wright’s church pro bono.

HUD welcomes the Trayvon Martins and their ilk into our ‘hood

Just when one thought the news from this regime could not get more grim, another so-called “Rule.” So now Billions of dollars will go to insure that our homes decrease in value so we can move the hoodlums into our hood. Welcome Trayvon Martin and his ilk, and they will get free money to be our neighbors no doubt. The dictates will come down fast and furious now.

To ensure that “every American is able to choose to live in a community they feel proud of,” HUD has published a new fair-housing regulation intended to give people access to better neighborhoods than the ones they currently live in. –

“Make no mistake, this is a big deal,” Donovan said. “With the HUD budget alone, we are talking about billions of dollars. And as you know, decades ago, these funds were used to support discrimination. Now, they will be used to expand opportunity and bring communities closer to the American Dream.”

Under the Fair Housing Act, HUD requires grantees, such as cities, that receive federal housing funds to “affirmatively further fair housing.”

Under the proposed rule, the neighborhood data provided by HUD will be used to evaluate patterns of integration and segregation, racial and ethnic concentrations of poverty, and access to “valuable community assets.” HUD wants to know if existing laws and policies — such as zoning, financing, infrastructure planning and transportation — create, perpetuate or alleviate segregation.

The proposed rule explicitly incorporates fair-housing decision-making into existing planning processes and “other decision-making that influences how communities and regions grow and develop.”

“This proposed rule represents a 21st century approach to fair housing, a step forward to ensuring that every American is able to choose to live in a community they feel proud of – where they have a fair shot at reaching their full potential in life,” said HUD Secretary Shaun Donovan.

“For the first time ever,” Donovan added, “HUD will provide data for every neighborhood in the country, detailing the access African American, Latino, Asian, and other communities have to local assets, including schools, jobs, transportation, and other important neighborhood resources that can play a role in helping people move into the middle class.”

Bloomberg denies food donations to the poor

This is a story that has been around, but I use this as a demonstration of what lies ahead for all of us if we do not get this government under control. A dictatorship can be fun for the one who is dictating.

Everything must be controlled or doled out by the State, peons! Food, soda, using the stairs instead of the elevator, what will Nanny not try to control?  Better to let the poor starve.

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s food police have struck again!

Outlawed are food donations to homeless shelters because the city can’t assess their salt, fat and fiber content, reports CBS 2’s Marcia Kramer.

Glenn Richter arrived at a West Side synagogue on Monday to collect surplus bagels — fresh nutritious bagels — to donate to the poor. However, under a new edict from Bloomberg’s food police he can no longer donate the food to city homeless shelters.

It’s the “no bagels for you” edict.

“I can’t give you something that’s a supplement to the food you already have? Sorry that’s wrong,” Richter said.

Richter has been collecting food from places like the Ohav Zedek synagogue and bringing it to homeless shelters for more than 20 years, but recently his donation, including a “cholent” or carrot stew, was turned away because the Bloomberg administration wants to monitor the salt, fat and fiber eaten by the homeless.

Richter said he was stunned. He said his family has eaten the same food forever and flourished.

“My father lived to 97; my grandfather lived to 97, and they all enjoyed it and somehow we’re being told that this is no good and I think there is a degree of management that becomes micromanagement and when you cross that line simply what you’re doing is wrong,” Richter said.
