Soldiers may be court martialed for sharing Christian faith

The Obama administration is not one to take their foot off the neck of Christians, but not so much the Muslims.

So President Barack Obama’s civilian appointees who lead the Pentagon are confirming that the military will make it a crime–possibly resulting in imprisonment–for those in uniform to share their faith. This would include chaplains—military officers who are ordained clergymen of their faith (mostly Christian pastors or priests, or Jewish rabbis)–whose duty since the founding of the U.S. military under George Washington is to teach their faith and minister to the spiritual needs of troops who come to them for counsel, instruction, or comfort.

Recall earlier Military ready to purge Catholics and Protestants and Evangelicals?

The military is getting ready for the purge of any servicemen and women who may not be ready to turn on their fellow citizens? Recall first  West Point think tank warns of dangerous conservatives?

The report issued this week by the Combating Terrorism Center at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, N.Y., is titled “Challengers from the Sidelines: Understanding America’s Violent Far-Right.” And just who are these “Violent Far-Right” folks?

It says anti-federalists “espouse strong convictions regarding the federal government, believing it to be corrupt and tyrannical, with a natural tendency to intrude on individuals’ civil and constitutional rights. Finally, they support civil activism, individual freedoms, and self government. Extremists in the anti-federalist movement direct most their violence against the federal government and its proxies in law enforcement.”

“While liberal worldviews are future- or progressive-oriented, conservative  perspectives are more past-oriented, and in general, are interested in  preserving the status quo,” the report says. “The far right represents a more  extreme version of conservatism, as its political vision is usually justified by  the aspiration to restore or preserve values and practices that are part of the  idealized historical heritage of the nation or ethnic community.”

Now we hear from and more at Breitbart

The Pentagon has released a statement confirming that soldiers could be prosecuted for promoting their faith: “Religious proselytization is not permitted within the Department of Defense…Court martials and non-judicial punishments are decided on a case-by-case basis…”.

The statement, released to Fox News, follows a Breitbart News report on Obama administration Pentagon appointees meeting with anti-Christian extremist Mikey Weinstein to develop court-martial procedures to punish Christians in the military who express or share their faith.

(From an earlier report: Weinstein is the head of the Military Religious Freedom Foundation, and says Christians–including chaplains–sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ in the military are guilty of “treason,” and of committing an act of “spiritual rape” as serious a crime as “sexual assault.” He also asserted that Christians sharing their faith in the military are “enemies of the Constitution.”)

Being convicted in a court martial means that a soldier has committed a crime under federal military law. Punishment for a court martial can include imprisonment and being dishonorably discharged from the military.

The specifics of this information you share are quite telling, Bunker. I never dreamed in my lifetime that being a Christian and being a supporter of the U.S. Constitution would put me on a list of likely terrorists or that would I be considered religious extremist for those beliefs. But …there you are. Strangers in our own land. The nasty joke is that all of these political officials swear to uphold the Constitution when taking office…bet they have their fingers and toes crossed when they take that oath. 😦 Obviously lying is easy. As for the ballot box, the next steps are trying to “true” the vote (protecting elections from the amount of fraud we have been seeing), and finding enough thinking voters to actually participate in voting the bums out of here. Those are not small orders to undertake.
I do feel very badly for our good military folks who are being hit with this incredible policy…truly sad. They fight for our freedom and have theirs taken from them.

I’d prefer Bunker, that the pen and party cups be taken from their cold-dead-hands. They won’t stop willingly, others will have to intervene and do it for them. Just like cancer, zap it or it spreads. Explains what the LORD will find going on when He returns. They’ll be happy to know that He won’t use a gun to do His house cleaning! I don’t expect that God would have us to do His job though – he has other things for us to be doing by His Spirit. His Way, not theirs!

Indeed. Because many of us will not submit is the reason that sooner or later they will want to confiscate our right to not submit willingly. The ballot box is the way we correct this problem.

Christianity does not frighten Socialist Democrats. They regard Christians as ignorant, stupid, or stubborn. But dangerous? Of course not.

Think about the expressions “ignorant masses” and “the opiate of the proletariat.” The Socialist Democrats portray themselves as a vanguard leading us into an utopian era. Christians and other members of the ignorant masses threaten their success. We don’t have to do anything dangerous. Our opposition to their glorious aims is alone sufficient to make us an obstacle (but not a dangerous threat). So Christians must either be reeducated or eliminated. And since we have yet to put up much of a fight, the Socialist Democrats regard their ultimate victory as just a matter of time.

Of course, the Socialist Democrats cannot really explain how their utopia is suppose to work, but that’s because their utopia will in truth only exist for the literal vanguard of the proletariat. Those people who actually believe Socialism works will eventually find themselves either reeducated into docility or eliminated with the Christians and those other religious extremists.

What the Socialist Democrats want is power. Ultimately, they will fight among themselves for control of a dictatorship. Dictatorship is about personality cults and power. For such people words and ideologies are just weapons they use in the service of information warfare. If we want to stop power-mad politicians — politicians we elected — from ruining our country, then we have to insist upon limited government. We must remember why the founders created a constitutional republic. We must admit to ourselves that we have given our government too many responsibilities and too much authority, and that is why we can no longer control it.
