Immigration bill monstrosity – without the light of day

Another 1500 page monstrosity that the Senate will attempt to ram through without seeing the light of day. After all, we have to pass it to see what is in it. So much for the gang af eight, straight from those who are bringing us the coming gulag. Graham and McCain. Of course, out there in full force.

UPDATE: Hot Air has a some good information about what we may be in for. Highlight:

Katrina Trinko has most of the particulars at the Corner. Quote: “One contentious issue among the senators is whether immigrants who are clearly part of gangs but who have no criminal record will be allowed to obtain legal status.”

Amnesty fever: Catch it.

Here we go:

All the members of the bipartisan “Gang of Eight” pushing immigration reform in the U.S. Senate will band together to block any efforts by other senators to offer amendments to their legislation once it is introduced, the Washington Post reported on Sunday.

This apparent effort by Gang of Eight members to force a deal through with no amendments and without a transparent process complete with public hearings examining the different facets of a forthcoming bill has worried conservatives on the Senate Judiciary Committee. The committee’s ranking GOP member, Sen. Chuck Grassley, and his colleagues Sens. Jeff Sessions, Ted Cruz, and Mike Lee recently wrote to all the Republicans in the Gang of Eight asking them to fight for a transparent process and hearings to examine each part of the coming bill, which still has not been written.

Sens. Jeff Flake, Lindsey Graham, and John McCain have not backed the efforts for transparency in this process. Rubio says he does back the efforts for a transparent process, and wrote back to those conservatives on the Senate Judiciary Committee to say that he views the Gang of Eight’s forthcoming legislative text as nothing more than a “starting point” from which other senators will be allowed to offer their input via amendments and hearings and other processes. But Leahy, the chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, has only said he will “consider” having just one hearing on the massive legislative package, and would not commit to a transparent process.

so why don’t the unions fight for protected borders, against amnesty, etc…..?

unions were fine in the early years when they addressed problems about safety issues etc…. but after that they became nothing more than a method to provide campaign funds for the Democrats…

As I just said in response to another post here at Bunkerville: This bill is going to be just like the ObamaCare bill (according to Nancy Pelosi): “We have to pass the bill so that you can find out what’s in it.”

That was a beautiful tribute and well done. In the end, it was her own party that turned her out. So it goes.

Thanks Bunker. Yes, that’s sad … show how the world at large is waxing old and decrepit. The once strong moral values and integrity have fallen into ruin, for the most part. And the masses, ignorant of who God intended us to be, few are aware there is a loving God who calls to them.
Both she and Ronald both victims of dementia, makes one wonder … with the many man-made virus’ and such. Anyway, thanks for viewing and liking the tribute. A Classy Lady.

11 million newly minted Dems… time for that nasty McCain and Graham to be retired pronto. McCain is the worse of them. His idiotic campaign brought all of this to bear.

Where’s that “11 million” figure from? The open borders cabal have been saying “12 million” for over 15 years. (See Frosty Wooldride, Michelle Malkin etc.) Did illegals stop arriving in the 1990’s?

With the “Family Reunification” programme we can expect a population rise of @100 million within a ver few years. Outrageous inflation, prices rising through the roof… and no English spoken here!

Lie-ables exemplify the statement that, the ‘devil’s in the details.’ Debase nature of depravity – co-hearts in crime: Flaky Graham crackers made in the image of (Mc) Cain, killer of his brethren.
Some say we have to see the worse to appreciate the BEST. Enough of the worse already, time for the BEST! Let those Musketeers arise!

“Gang” is an appropriate adjective for these Senators. McCain and Graham are playing right into Obama’s hand. Obama will taut the bill as having “biipartisan” support. Should the bill become law, the Democrats will get all of the credit and the Republicans will get nothing out of it. The RINOs never learn.

The GOP is just as bad as the Democrats, they are the same animal gone feral. Both are incapable of doing anything that would benefit the Nation and the generations of Americans yet unborn. I am a registered Conservative and I say that about 98% of all politicians are worthless human beings. What they think of Americans, I think of them.

That, is THE major problem. They no longer are concerned about their job security because people figure they have been in there for so long and are afraid of alternative candidates or the political parties financially back only THEIR selected candidate.
For years, the Republican Congressman I donated to with his campaigns and all, now he never writes replies, never anything except an uncaring person on the phone in his office. So, the latest request for contributions I tossed in the trash. I usually donate $400.00; $200 first request/$200 second request. Now he can go shit in his hat. He is supporting gun control and immigration reform for citizenship. The US Senator, also, crap, but I never voted or donated to the Liberal bastard.
I’m too old and do not have any qualification or experience so that ends that, unless if it were for some really low position to start off with and I would want to EARN my way up the ladder.

Again, the liberals send a message that it pays to break laws and get around the system. What about all of the people that did obey the laws of immigration and came to this nation lawfully? For many, it was a very hard road. Over and over we say it, but the government never listens, that it is not against any class, race or ethnic background that the American People object to, it is the manner in which persons will enter and remain unlawfully in this country we are opposed to. Do it the right way, that’s all we ask. When my father’s family came to America in 1861, it was told to me that they were required to answer: “What is your trade skill?; How much converted money and other valuables do you have?; Who is your sponsor?; Who will give shelter to your family and feed your children if your cannot find or maintain your occupation?” Today, the undocumented democrats simply head straight for the welfare office. Also, the prison systems in all of the states and federal systems refuse to provide inmate data of citizenship.
