Valerie Jarrett: ‘GOP lack of patriotism the reason for gridlock’

The thought of seeing more of Valerie Jarrett over the next four years is almost as hard as thinking about dealing with our new self-appointed King who made it clear last night he intends to rule by decree as opposed to Congress enacted legislation. Because you see, he wants it done “right away”.  Now Jarrett, his most trusted adviser tells us why only he understands patriotism. Of course the family ties go back a long way…Valerie Jarrett’s Father-in-Law Vernon Jarrett Head of Communist Youth:

It turns out that around this time, Vernon Jarrett was a leader of the Chicago chapter of American Youth for Democracy – the youth wing of the Communist Party.

Chicago communist journalist Frank Marshall Davis was a national sponsor of American Youth for Democracy, as well as being a Progressive Party supporter.

Later that year, Frank Marshall Davis moved to Hawaii, where he met and mentored a young boy named Barack Obama.

Vernon Jarrett stayed in Chicago, where he became a prominent columnist. Coincidentally he used this column in 2004 to urge black voters to vote in the 2004 Senate primaries for Barack Obama.

Via Beltway Confidential:

Valerie Jarrett, President Obama’s closest adviser, attributed the gridlock and struggles of the last four years to a lack of patriotism among congressional Republicans.

“The president has always reached out, he’s always looked for balanced solutions,” Jarrett said today on Morning Joe. “I think part of our frustration in the first four years is oftentimes seeing Republicans put their short term political interests ahead of what’s in the best interest of the country.”

National Journal’s Ron Fournier reported that the White House was “stung by the coverage of the inaugural address” and would seek a less partisan tone during the State of the Union speech. Jarrett’s comments suggest that, even when the White House team is making an effort to be less partisan, they just can’t help themselves.

But I thought we weren’t allowed to question patriotism? Funny how that isn’t the case anymore, isn’t it? As for Obama; there is no doubt in my mind that he will EO all his policies into place and the Congress will be irrelevant over the next four years.

Jarrett’s “Gridlock” complaint and “unfinished task” (stated by BHO) could be seen as a positive … “IF” there were enough sane, cognizant and courageous American’s left in the Congress, House and Judicial to kick these ruthless anti-Americans out and send them back where they came from or where they belong.

What does a communist kow about patriotism? Helping Obama destroy what is left of America is somehow patriotic? Gridlock is the best thing that could happen in the coming four years.
