Vote Tally Count Fiscal Cliff -Taxpayer Relief Act

With any luck, this should finish Boehner. Let us hope to be relieved of this fellow.

Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) voted in favor of the legislation, splitting with House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-Va.) and Majority Whip Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.). Rep. Paul Ryan (Wis.), the Budget Committee chairman and former Republican vice presidential nominee, voted yes.

The 257-167 vote culminated a day of high drama in the Capitol, as Republican leaders considered and then quickly abandoned a plan to attach steep spending cuts to a measure passed overwhelmingly by the Senate early Tuesday morning.

The House passed the fiscal cliff deal late on Jan 1.

Taxpayer Relief Act of 2012 (On the Senate Amendment)

House Vote #659 [primary source: house.gov]

Date:
Jan 01, 2013 (112th Congress)
Result:
Passed
Related Bill:
H.R. 8: American Taxpayer Relief Act of 2012
Introduced by Rep. David “Dave” Camp [R-MI4] on July 24, 2012
Current Status: Passed Senate with Changes

This was a vote to approve or reject a bill or resolution.

The bill extends indefinitely marginal tax rates on annual family income up to $450,000, lifts the top capital gains and dividends rates to 20 percent, extends unemployment insurance benefits and a host of other tax provisions.

It delays automatic spending cuts for two months, setting up another fiscal showdown over replacing those cuts, raising the debt ceiling and funding the federal government. The Hill

No Sense that he’s still there ~ if they can’t even do that right (replace him), what about more important things: like how can a person who changed his name, who has a dead persons SS#, no real Birth Certif. to verify who he is, be allowed to do what he’s doing. That’s why Boehner’s there – proving again we live in a fallen world under the curse of sin. Oh ‘happy day’ of Correction (make straight the crooked) hasten!

I went off on my *about to be* Congress Critter today, made a big blog post, and he knows I have a hell of a following here in HIS district… I got a call from him at 9:10 this AM, Pete Sessions called ME to explain personally WHY he voted Yea…

Well, I am not intimidated, whether on the phone, the ‘net or in person, I told him what I thought about his YEA and what I planned to do in regards to his YEA…

Most of the Congressmen in my part of Texas are Conservatives and voted against this Obama bamboozle, Sam Johnson, my current Rep, Joe Barton, Kenny Marchant, Jeb Hensarling, Ralph Hall and Louie Gomert all voted NAY, as well they should! These gents are Representatives from this area of Texas and are fine, upstanding Congressmen.

I asked Sessions WHY then, if this Obama BS was SO good, did the above named Reps vote against it..

His answer: “They took the easy way out Fred…”

I am DONE with Mr. Pete Sessions, thank God he’s a 2 year term, makes getting rid of him, and others like him a lot easier..

Well, we should know tomorrow if this deal finished off Boehner’s Speakership or not. I hope so, this man has been outmaneuvered at every turn by the Democrats.

If you ever watch the show “FRINGE” much of the insanity of this guy and others, becomes clearer. Whether they’re infected with a bio-genetic organism, brainwashed & controlled or whatever, it’s not a pretty picture. Mental illness is only recognized by those who aren’t! We each have our own ‘bents’ but still are conscious of a moral and right standard (based on God’s Truth), with a conscience that still works. Some consciences have been seared shut, like with a hot iron, and no long relate to the high authority of God – they have their own gods. None are righteous, no not one. The foolishness of man though is not as powerful as the Wisdom Of GOD, in Whom we take heart and place our confidence. Thanks Bunker.
