Romney’s victory speech last night. Optimistic, hopeful, and starting to get it together. Look, am I happy he is our candidate? Either way, I am glad the blood bath of each of the GOP candidates going after each other is over. Let the party begin and the attack ads against Obama begin as well. If you have not had a chance of hearing his remarks, here they are and worth the time if you want to feel a bit better about our situation. We might just get to pack up Obama and his family and send them back to Chicago or wherever they want to call home.

It’s going to be tough, because Romney hasn’t fire up anyone in the party. His only strength is that he’s not Obama.

Matt- at this point, I will take that. The PA primary did not bode well for the GOP. Turnout very light in my county.

I hadn’t seen this speech, thanks for sharing it. This was perhaps Romney’s best speech because he laid out the differences between he and Obama. I am also glad the GOP bloodbath is over and am looking forward to the general election campaign. If Romney conitnues to give speeches like this he might just win me over.

Well, our options are getting rather limited! It is what it is now, so I am determined to make the best of it. We must get Obama out. I could not bear the thoughts of 4 more years of this.

ABO (Anybody But Obama) is right … time to start purging all the Progressives (Communists) from power. The mainstreaming of Marxism must end. Hell, even Cuba’s diving into the free market. Meanwhile, our own gov’t (as currently constituted) grows more socialistic by the minute. If it wasn’t for the 2010 election, our kids would be forced by now to sing the Internationale in home room every morning.

Right you are Bob. Lucky indeed. We got a second chance, and we cannot blow it over being stuck on what might have been. Anyone.else anyone else. That must be our mantra IMO.

That is the best speech I’ve heard from Romney to date. Voter turnout is going to be key to defeating Obama in my opinion. This speech is the first evidence I’ve seen that Romney will be able to motivate the base to turn out on election day. If Romney stays on the offense, he will have a good chance of winning.

I am with you. The turnout in PA was really dismal. But this perked me up a bit.

In another hopeful sign, The Romney Death Star really took it to the Obamunists over the “Dog Wars” as well as the “War on Mommies.” Romney 2, Obama 0. It’s encouraging.

I feel a bit more upbeat. Looks like he is not going to take the bait, at least last night he didnt.

Obviously, I didn’t want Romney as our candidate, but since he is, I hope he takes it to Obama. He is certainly much better than John McCain . This speech was a good one.

A good first start I would say. It is what it is, and I guess we best make the best of it.

He is a better nominee than McCain. He kinda sounds Reaganesque. He’s starting to have some pep in his speeches, taking it to Obama. Really good speech.
