Schakowsky says ‘pay your fair share’-tax evader hubby in prison,

Should far-left Dem Rep. Jan Schakowsky, whose husband Bob Creamer was sent to federal prison in 2006 for tax evasion and bank fraud, really be telling other people to “pay their fair share”?

Via Rebel Pundit

Schakowsky was greeted by her Occupy Chicago ”brothers and sisters” with a warm welcome. After committing (on the pulpit) to continue pushing her jobs legislation and promoting a speculative financial transaction tax, she went on to explain how she has “….gotten out of an abusive relationship, by removing her money from Bank of America….” She continued by touting, her new spending legislation will “….put Americans back to work….,” and called on the millionaires and billionaires to pay their fair share.

Sounds like her husband should have a place in the Obama regime. This is kind of like Kerry telling people they should pay higher taxes while hiding his yacht out of state to avoid taxes. These people are all hypocrites.

It is really rich indeed, She is taking out her money from Bank of Amrerica. Of course, her husband did it the chicago way of removing same, stealing it.

Jan’s just another Red, one of many that in more enlightened times, would’ve been on an FBI watch list, & not permitted within 100 miles of any government office. From KeyWiki (

Jan Schakowsky has been close to Chicago Democratic Socialists of America-or its predecessors since the 1970s. In 1983, Jan Schakowsky wrote an article for DSA’s Chicago Socialist, February/March issue, pages 4 and 5 “Hopes and fears dominate IPAC conference.”

Jan Schakowsky received her 2000 [Eugene] Debs Dinner award from Chicago Democratic Socialists of America leader, the late Carl Shier.

Schakowsky for Congress placed a paid ad with the Chicago Democratic Socialists of America May 10, 2002, 44th Annual Eugene V. Debs – Norman Thomas – Michael Harrington Dinner program.

In 2011, Heather Booth, Rep. Jan Schakowsky and Gregory Cendana all endorsed an updated edition of “Organizing for Social Change: Midwest Academy Manual for Activists, by Kim Bobo, Jackie Kendall and Steve Max. Schakowsky wrote; “People power will trump the power of big money. This book will tell you how to organize that power”.

The most conclusive proof that Jan Schakowsky has been an actual DSA member came from DSA News, June 9, 1986, page 2, in which an article entitled “DSAers on the move” reports on some of Schakowsky’s early electoral forays. As of February 20 2009 Jan Schakowsky was listed as a member of the Congressional Progressive Caucus.

There was a time when she would have been ridden out on a rail. I guess I am showing my age. Thanks for the great comment. Time for us to wake up big time, and soon.

    Hypocrisy, thy name is liberalism.

“Fair share” means keep shoveling, there are progressive programs that need your money…

I have nominated you for the Versatile Blogger award, but I wish you to know that I have changed the rules somewhat. I have listed the standard rules but included the fact that I do not feel anyone is obliged to follow them. I hope that you will accept this award even if you feel that you can not pass it on. This is an award because I appreciate you and do not feel that you are obliged to do anything.
