Obama and his Vineyard Friends – Ogletree, Comcast

Yes, just checking up on how the vacation is moving along. Good old Valerie Jarrett is out there tooling around with Obama and some of Obama’s best buds. Recall what we just learned about Valerie?  Valerie Jarrett’s Father-in-Law head of Communist Youth?

President Barack Obama put in a brief appearance Saturday at the home of his friend and one-time teacher, Harvard Law School professor Charles Ogletree, as he continued his Martha’s Vineyard vacation.

Glenn Beck Comments:

The president with Charles Ogletree. Who is he? Well, he was a prominent lawyer, he still is; professor of Harvard University. He’s a respected guy.

But let’s look at his past. He grew up in California. He went to college in the early 1970s. He attended Stanford University.

It was when he was at Stanford University that he started hating the elitism of the university, and became involved in the Black Power movement — Black Power. It emphasized the radical pride and promoted black collective interest.

Now, I recognize some of that language, because of the Black Panther — the original, not the new guys, the original. A lot of it is the same language. But they don’t mix, OK?

He edited the Black Panther newspaper. Here’s a copy of it, The Real News. OK? He was an editor.

Ogletree also attended every single day of the trial of this woman. This woman is Angela Davis, OK? She was a Black Power activist.

She was also a communist. You might remember her name. She was fired from UCLA in 1969 after she admitted she was a communist. More of the Glenn Beck story over at Fox News

Charles Ogletree not only was a black panther. He is also the lawyer of Henry Louis Gates, who’s racism caused the beer summit. Ogletree’s daughter Rashida was recently hired into Holder’s Justice Department as a lawyer. Ogletree is still a militant leftist and is still called on by the Obamas for advice. H/T: Pat Dollard

Then we motor over to see Mr. Roberts of Comcast. Recall this chapter in the life of Obama?

Slowly, we are learning more about the merger of Comcast and NBC. Not that NBC could carry George Soros’s water any more than they do, but it is stunning that there is no shame. Of course the next step will be to throttle Fox News. In my opinion, they already have made good strides in that direction. Here tis:

Under the terms of the FCC order approving Comcast’s takeover of NBCU, at least half of NBC’s 10 O&Os have to find a nonprofit news center with which to work within the next year. The order cites the KNSD-VoiceOfSanDiego.org alliance as the model for what it would like to see in other NBC markets.

Proponents of the growing nonprofit news movement are hoping that NBC’s FCC-mandated efforts will bear fruit and encourage other commercial TV stations to seek out nonprofit partners. From FCC orders Newsrooms to partner with Soros funded non-profits

Now on to the road trip:

The presidential motorcade on Martha’s Vineyard peeled out of Blue Heron Farms at 5:15 p.m. with the president and Valerie Jarrett in tow.

After 10 minutes, we made an abrupt left turn on John Cottle Road — an unpaved, deeply rutted eight-foot-wide private path hemmed in by ivy, scrub oak and big, scary boulders.

After bottoming out four times — we’re talking two-foot holes in a sand-and-gravel road, along with one hairpin turn — Obama and Jarrett arrived at the West Tisbury home of their friends Brian and Aileen Roberts, spokesman Josh Earnest informs us. It was 5:30 p.m.

Roberts is chairman and CEO of Comcast. H/T: Politico:
