And people continue to vote for them In a sense, I can’ blame the politicians. They are what they are. But the people that repeatedly vote them into office, they are the ones that need their rectums examined-in order to locate their heads!

Too often they have offered favors or have brought in the pork. No doubt why Boehner had so much trouble whipping. Pelosi just handed out the candy for what she wanted.

I think one of the CNS comments says it all:
“Senator McCain is either clueless, senile, or incompetent.”
Or, we could speculate, vengeful against the United States for letting him rot at the Hanoi Hilton for five years.

Thanks for the link. Pelosi’s latest inane comment: “I view my work in politics as an extension of my role as a mom. There are things we want to do for our children that are simply beyond us.”

So she thinks the American people are her ‘children’?? No wonder kids want to run away from home.

Boehner knows his plan stinks. But he is proposing,IMHO, a brilliant strategy to force Obama and the Democrats to take responsibility for what happens. If the Tea Party Republicans don’t support Boehner’s plan, it will be the Republicans which will be seen as responsible for what happens.

McCain’s latest unhinged comments reminded me again why I’m glad he was not elected, although I held my nose and voted for him.

What would he have done differently from Obama? We would still have government health care and a wrecked economy, but the GOP would be complicit. Often, blessings are well disguised.
