Al Gore now into Population Control

We have been down this road before. Now we are moving into population control. Right out of the Progressive’s playbook of the last century. This whole Progressive movement is getting very predictable. First the old and sick must go, now we move on to one child per family. Baby girls the first to be eliminated with an excellent article from the WSJ. Well worth reading the whole article.

From Watts up with that:

Not content to make a fool of himself confusing weather and climate, Al has now decided to lecture empower women on how to reduce the population for the benefit of the planet.

The War Against Girls from the Wall Street Journal

Since the late 1970s, 163 million female babies have been aborted by parents seeking sons . . .”Sex selection typically starts with the urban, well-educated stratum of society,” she writes. “Elites are the first to gain access to a new technology, whether MRI scanners, smart phones—or ultrasound machines.” The behavior of elites then filters down until it becomes part of the broader culture.
High sex ratios mean that a society is going to have “surplus men”—that is, men with no hope of marrying because there are not enough women. Such men accumulate in the lower classes, where risks of violence are already elevated. And unmarried men with limited incomes tend to make trouble. In Chinese provinces where the sex ratio has spiked, a crime wave has followed. Today in India, the best predictor of violence and crime for any given area is not income but sex ratio.. .Continues:

  2. rjjrdq Says:

Obama’ s science czar John Holdren advocates forced sterilzation. Population control for us, but amnesty for others. Yes, we are being replaced.

    • Bunkerville Says:

He/they really think we are stupid. Yet if it was not for the “working” crowd, they would simple starve or freeze to death in a matter of days. They best be careful

  3. Matt Says:

Fuuny, isn’t it, that it’s come full circle. The population bomb idiots in the 70’s said we’d all be dead many times over by now. Yet, even though they’ve been wrong at every turn, they keep coming back for more.

BTW, the user spiked the video, hopefully, someone archived it.

  4. Steve Dennis Says:

Population control has been one of the goals of the global warming crowd and now Al Gore has jumped on the bandwagon. When you look at the true agenda of the warmists it is very scary indeed.

  5. Otis P. Driftwood Says:

Algore needs his own comedy show. 4 kids and preaching population control. Just like his Globull Warming – Conserve Energy BS – with his mansion he pays more for utilities in 1 month than I do in a year. And at last count doesn’t his family own 5 or 6 gas guzzling SUVs?

  6. edge of the sandbox Says:

On one hand, it’s about “empowering and educating women to make choices,” but on the other “so that people are more comfortable with small families”. It’s not a choice unless you make the choice we want you to make. Lovely.

  7. Conservatives on Fire Says:

Can you imagine what this country would be like today if Gore had won the elections instead of Bush. A scary thought.

  8. KingShamus Says:

How many kids does Al Gore have?

Oh right. Shut the hell up, Algore.

    • Bunkerville Says:

Excellent point: Al Gore has four children. Think about that for a minute.

If the average woman in the world followed Al Gore’s lead, the population of the world would double every 25 years — FOREVER.

Al and Tipper Gore chose to have more children than the average woman is having today in India, China, Zimbabwe, South Africa, El Salvador, Jamaica, Indonesia, Bangladesh, Vietnam or the Philippines — to randomly pick from a few of the less developed countries from around the globe.

Al Gore had a choice to make when it came to having a family. He could have had no children. Or one child. He could have chosen to stop at two. He could have built his family through adoption or stopped at three kids. Instead, Al and Tipper Gore chose to double the human load they put on this planet.

It’s not like Al and Tipper did not have access to health care and a diverse array of family planning options. Al and Tipper had more information about, and better access to, contraception than almost anyone else on the planet.
