EPA Law Effective April, Home Repairs May Have To Be Put On Hold

EPA makes first strike! Does anyone know about this new “Order”? It costs $300.00 for the course, but none of the contractors know who, what, where or when to comply. Thanks EPA for the Heads up!!

Home-owners may find themselves unable to complete home repairs or re models after April 22nd. Contractors could end up on the new “Most Wanted” list.

A New law that requires Contractors repairing or painting homes made before 1978 or facilities occupied by children comes into effect on April 22, 2010.

The law requires that contractors be certified and trained in lead-safe work practices. The EPA began processing applications on October 22, 2009 for the ruling originally issued by the EPA on April 22, 2008.

Contractors must also provide owners, tenants, and child-care facilities with a copy of EPA’s lead hazard information pamphlet.

Contractors who fail to comply face large fines.

It may be hard to find a qualified remodeler due to a shortage of accredited trainers if the ruling goes into effect as planned according to The National Association of Home Builders.

Obama ‘We Don’t Quit’ War Whopper?

It was the Faux leather jacket that Obama wore that was the tipping point for me with this Military visit this weekend. POTUS, Playing soldier.

“The United States of America does not quit once it starts on something.  You don’t quit, the American armed services does not quit.  We keep at it.  We persevere.” — Pres. Obama to US troops in Afghanistan, March 28, 2010

“Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama is calling for the immediate withdrawal of all U.S. combat brigades from Iraq, with the pullout being completed by the end of next year. ‘Let me be clear: There is no military solution in Iraq and there never was,’ Obama said.” — Obama calls for immediate withdrawal from Iraq, AP, Sep. 12, 2007 [emphasis added]

“there’s no daylight when it comes to support for all of you.  There’s no daylight when it comes to supporting our troops.”

  • John Kerry accused US troops of “terrorizing” women and children in Iraq.
  • John Murtha accused US Marines of killing innocent Iraqi civilians “in cold blood.”
  • Dick Durbin accused US troops at Guantanamo of acting like “Nazis

FBI Raids Christian Militia Group

Considering the ATF recently seized 30 BB guns claiming they could be turned into automatic weapons, one does wonder?https://bunkerville.wordpress.com/2010/03/01/atf-seizes-30-dangerous-bb-guns/

Hutaree Website: http://www.youtube.com/user/hutaree

This developing action is something to follow. The Michigan Militia on their website indicates they are not involved. One of the beliefs of the Hutaree, reported, is their concern about an “Anti-Christ”.  Any group that supports violence gives those who would take away gun rights an open door to the MSM and the condemnation of gun ownership. Time will tell the story.

The FBI said Sunday that it had conducted raids in the three states, resulting in at least three arrests. Federal warrants were sealed, but a federal law enforcement official speaking on condition of anonymity said some of those arrested face gun charges and officials are pursuing other suspects. Some of the suspects were expected in court Monday.

It wasn’t clear what prompted the raids, but Michael Lackomar, a spokesman for the Southeast Michigan Volunteer Militia, said one of his team leaders got a frantic phone call Saturday evening from members of Hutaree, a Christian militia group. They said their property in southeast Michigan was being raided by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, Lackomar said.

From the Michigan Militia:

Some sources indicate that the sealed warrants will be released on Monday…This site has NOT been compromised by anyone, nor have we been raided at all. Please disregard any such false information that you might encounter on any comment boards.

A well-armed citizenry is the best form of Homeland Security and can better deter crime, invasion, terrorism, and tyranny.  The intention of this website is to inform, promote and facilitate the development and training of the militia.  Everyone is welcome, regardless of race, creed, color, religion or political affiliation, provided you do not wish to bring harm to our country or people.  If you are a United States citizen (or have declared your intent to become such), who is capable of bearing arms, or supports the right to do so, then YOU ARE the militia… http://www.michiganmilitia.com/

US ‘may not veto UN resolution on Jerusalem’

Our only ally in the Middle East, and POTUS would sell them out to his Arab League buddies? Apparently the Jewish Community remains committed to this absurd, arrogant and narcissistic man. This only emboldens those who would destroy Israel.

The US is considering abstaining from a possible UN Security Council resolution against Israeli settlements in East Jerusalem, sources suggest to the BBC.

The reported exchange between the US official and Qatar’s foreign minister came to light during a meeting at an Arab League summit in the Libyan town of Sirte.

A diplomatic source told the BBC that Qatar’s Foreign Minister, Sheikh Hamad Bin Jasim Al Thani – who is also the prime minister – had recently met an official high up in the Obama administration during a visit to France.

The possibility surfaced at talks in Paris last week between a senior US official and Qatar’s foreign minister.

The official said the US would “seriously consider abstaining” if the issue of Israeli settlements was put to the vote, a diplomat told the BBC.

US officials in Washington have not confirmed the report.

There are no concrete plans at present to table such a resolution at the UN.

But it is likely that the US is considering how to maintain pressure, and a UN resolution would be one way, says BBC state department correspondent Kim Ghattas. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/middle_east/8591714.stm
