Netanyahu humiliated after Barack Obama ‘dumped him for dinner’

Our only ally in the Middle East and we do this? And the British?  Clinton’s earlier remarks represented an astonishing propaganda coup for the Peronist regime in its dispute with Britain over the Falklands, with Washington brazenly backing its position….. Honduras… we supported the Marxist….what in the world. Perhaps this will wake up the MSM about this arrogant, narcissistic inept individual.

For a head of government to visit the White House and not pose for photographers is rare. For a key ally to be left to his own devices while the President withdraws to have dinner in private was, until this week, unheard of. Yet that is how Binyamin Netanyahu was treated by President Obama on Tuesday night, according to Israeli reports on a trip viewed in Jerusalem as a humiliation.

After failing to extract a written promise of concessions on settlements, Mr Obama walked out of his meeting with Mr Netanyahu but invited him to stay at the White House, consult with advisers and “let me know if there is anything new”, a US congressman, who spoke to the Prime Minister, said.

“It was awful,” the congressman said. One Israeli newspaper called the meeting “a hazing in stages”, poisoned by such mistrust that the Israeli delegation eventually left rather than risk being eavesdropped on a White House telephone line. http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/world/us_and_americas/article7076431.ece

Fidel Castro endorses Obamacare. That just about says it all!

Fidel Castro endorses Obamacare. That just about says it all!

Communist, Fidel Castro declared healthcare reform “a miracle” and a major victory for Obama. Talk about ringing endorsements! Maybe it wasn’t the endorsement Obama was looking for but it was close.  Hopefully BFF Hugo Chavez will chime in shortly.   Putin is just too busy laughing.

Whenever a dictator like Castro cheers what your government is doing, it’s time for a new government.  Comrade Matrix thinks the main stream media will be all giddy about this development.

Obama seeks $2.8B in aid to Haiti

Wide-spread corruption continues in Haiti. In a CNN interview with a Doc from “Physicians without Borders”, it was revealed that  the agency which has been there for years “must pay rent” to be there, and stated she thought that all must. Apparently we are educating Haitian children. You read, you decide. All of this wasted money and corruption is really getting old.

President Barack Obama is asking Congress for $2.8 billion in aid for earthquake-wracked Haiti, jump-starting a global push to raise billions of dollars for the country’s reconstruction. Included in the bill is aid for education. Guess the education is in FL.

South Florida school administrators worry that it may not be enough. Miami-Dade and Broward each enrolled more than 1,000 students at a cost of about $7 million.

“Federal entities need to recognize the burden on our school system,” said Miami-Dade Superintendent Alberto Carvalho, who expects to enroll 3,000 more Haitian children in the coming school year.

Haitian Corruption wide spread it is reported.

Haiti’s president has condemned “arrogant” US criticism of corruption in his government, and said the Haitian presidency should have final veto power over donor-funded reconstruction projects following January’s catastrophic earthquake.

President Rene Preval’s anger was directed at a US State Department Human Rights report on Haiti for 2009, released last week, which said “corruption remained widespread in all branches and at all levels of government”.

His reaction threatened to sour Haiti’s ties with its main relief partner as the Caribbean state’s government and foreign donors drafted a plan for the country’s recovery and long-term reconstruction following the devastating January 12 quake. http://tvnz.co.nz/world-news/haiti-condemns-us-over-corruption-claims-3420089

LaHood: “We are going to “Coerce” people out of their cars

It's going to be swell

It's going to be swell

Big Government just getting more intrusive. We will be living like the chinese did 10 years ago. Thanks.

LaHood signed the new policy directive on March 11. “This is the end of favoring motorized transportation at the expense of non-motorized.”

On May 21, LaHood told reporters at the National Press Club that the “Partnership for Sustainable Communities’ his department had formed with the Environmental Protection Agency and the Department of Housing—sometimes known as the “livability initiative”–was designed to “coerce” people out of their cars.

The moderator later asked: “Some conservative groups are wary of the livable communities program, saying it’s an example of government intrusion into people’s lives. How do you respond?”

“About everything we do around here is government intrusion in people’s lives,” said LaHood. “So have at it.” -(an honest man).

Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood has announced that federal transportation policies will no longer favor “motorized” transportation, such as cars and trucks, over “non-motorized” transportation, such as walking and bicycling. he effusively described it as a “sea change” for the United States. Get out your sail.  http://www.cnsnews.com/news/article/63290

Indian military to weaponize world’s hottest chili

Wait until the Goricle hears about this– thats right, POTUS is getting rid of our Nuclear Weapons- this ought to work swell. The  new “Green Weapon” of choice.

The Indian military has a new weapon against terrorism: the world’s hottest chili.

“The chili grenade has been found fit for use after trials in Indian defense laboratories, a fact confirmed by scientists at the Defense Research and Development Organization,” Col. R. Kalia, a defense spokesman in the northeastern state of Assam, told The Associated Press

After conducting tests, the military has decided to use the thumb-sized “bhut jolokia,” or “ghost chili,” to make tear gas-like hand grenades to immobilize suspects, defense officials said Tuesday.

The bhut jolokia was accepted by Guinness World Records in 2007 as the world’s spiciest chili. It is grown and eaten in India’s northeast for its taste, as a cure for stomach troubles and a way to fight the crippling summer heat.

It has more than 1,000,000 Scoville units, the scientific measurement of a chili’s spiciness. Classic Tabasco sauce ranges from 2,500 to 5,000 Scoville units, while jalapeno peppers measure anywhere from 2,500 to 8,000.

Health Bill goes back to the House -Public Option Now?

Huffington Post says that the Republicans are picky picky picky– ah, to hell with Rules and the Constitution, its such pain in the butt. Isn’ that the way all Dictatorships start? And now a chance for the Public Option? A worrisome thought no less on that count. We know they will stop at nothing. Any Democrat could introduce a public option amendment in the Senate and it would need a bare majority to pass. Would it have 50 votes?

One issue is related to Pell Grants and the other makes small technical corrections. Why they’re in violation of the Byrd Rule doesn’t matter; the upshot is that Republicans will succeed in at least slightly altering the legislation, which means that the House is once again required to vote on it. With no substantial changes, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) should have little problem assembling the same coalition of 220 Democrats who passed the measure Sunday night. That’s already four more than the minimum 216 required for passage.

But the ruling might give Democrats another option — the public one.

Democratic leadership no longer has to worry that additional amendments would send it back to the House, since it must return to the lower chamber regardless. The Senate is now free to put to the test that much-debated question of whether 50 votes exist for a public option. Democrats could also elect to expand Medicare or Medicaid, now that they only need 50 votes in the Senate and the approval of the House. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/03/25/byrd-rule-sends-health-care-back-to-house_n_512609.html
