20 AL-JAZEERA journalists to face trial on terrorism charges in Egypt

When reading this I could only think of an old blog I had referred to the other day when good ole bro Malik Obama was settling into Yemen. No doubt our new semi-ambassador. While decrying that Egypt was kicking out the Muslim brotherhood and not following the “Democratic” process and accepting the election, our boy Obama was happy to let the Democratic process turn to dust in Yemen.

Obama’s personal role in a journalist’s imprisonment in Yemen:

Abdulelah Haider Shaye helped expose deadly US misbehavior in Yemen — and now the president won’t let him go free.

But his newest article – describing President Obama’s personal, direct role in ensuring the ongoing imprisonment of a Yemeni journalist  – may be his most important one yet; even for those inured to the abuses of the Obama administration, it’s nothing short of infuriating.

As we now know, on December 17, 2009, President Obama ordered an air attack — using Tomahawk cruise missiles and cluster bombs — on the village of al Majala in Yemen’s southern Abyan province; the strike ended the lives of 14 women and 21 children. At the time, the Yemeni government outright lied about the attack, falsely claiming that it was Yemen’s air force which was responsible.

Now, An Executive order seeks to punish U.S. citizens even for “indirectly” obstructing dictatorial rule in Yemen

Salon:

There seems to be little question that the Obama administration is devoted to imposing dictatorial order on Yemen through the use of force and liberty abridgment. As Scahill previously reported, Obama has played a direct personal role in the ongoing imprisonment of a Yemeni journalist who committed the crime of documenting thelarge number of civilian deaths from a U.S. cluster bomb attack on his country as well as exposing the joint lies of the Yemeni and U.S. Government. The latest U.S. drone strike in Yemen yesterday, even according to Yemeni officials, killed more civilians than alleged “militants.” The bombing campaign in Yemen now increasingly resemblesthe one conducted in Pakistan, though Yemen saw more drone strikes this month than any previous month in Pakistan.

Our imperial president decreed another executive order that should be making headlines, but of course, merely moves forward his agenda of limiting free speech. In a wonderfully written piece by Salon, the tale is told as to the objective of Obama’s edict. It is well worth the full read, and gives the past Supreme Court decision that gives him the boldness to do this.

What’s most amazing about all of this is how covert it is. What percentage of Americans even know that the Obama administration is continuously bombing and killing civilians in Yemen, or that American soldiers are now on the ground there in an advisory capacity?

Here is the live link to the E.O.: – http://www.whitehouse.gov/the-press-office/2012/05/16/executive-order-blocking-property-persons-threatening-peace-security-or-

President Obama issued an executive order last May giving the Treasury Department authority to freeze the U.S.-based assets of anyone who “obstructs” implementation of the administration-backed political transition in Yemen.

The unusual order, which administration officials said also targets U.S. citizens who engage in activity deemed to threaten Yemen’s security or political stability, is the first issued for Yemen that does not directly relate to counterterrorism.

In other words, the U.S. Government will now punish anyone who is determined — in the sole discretion of the U.S. Government — even to “indirectly” obstruct the full transition of power to President Hadi. But what if someone — a Yemeni or an American — opposes Hadi’s rule and wants to agitate for a real election in which more than one candidate runs? Is that pure political advocacy, as it appears, now prohibited by the U.S. Government, punishable by serious sanctions, on the ground that it “obstructs” the transition of power to Hadi? Can journalists who report on corruption or violence by the Hadi regime and who write Op-Eds demanding a new election be accused, as it seems, of “threatening Yemen’s political stability”?

As it does with most U.S.-compliant dictators in the region, the Obama administration has since been propping up Hadi with large amounts of money and military assistance, but it is now taking a much more extreme step to ensure he remains entrenched in power — a step that threatens not only basic liberties in Yemen but in the U.S. as well.

Jeremy Scahill, who has reported extensively from Yemen over the last year, reacted to the news of this Executive Order this morning by writing: ”This Executive Order appears to be an attack on Americans’ 1st Amendment Rights and Yemenis’ rights  Full story oover at Salon

Now the story:

CAIRO (AP) — Egypt said 20 journalists, including four foreigners, working for Al-Jazeera will face trial on charges of joining or aiding a terrorist group and endangering national security – an escalation that raised fears of a crackdown on freedom of the press.

It was the first time authorities have put journalists on trial on terrorism-related charges, suggesting authorities are expanding the reach of a heavy-handed crackdown on the Muslim Brotherhood since the military’s ouster of Islamist President Mohammed Morsi on July 3.

A trial date was not set, and the full list of charges and names of defendants not yet issued. But they are known to include three men working for Al-Jazeera English – acting bureau chief Mohammed Fahmy, a Canadian-Egyptian, award-winning correspondent Peter Greste of Australia and producer Baher Mohamed, an Egyptian. The three were arrested on Dec. 29 in a raid on the hotel suites in which they were working.

Egypt to file criminal charges against Hillary Clinton

The upcoming trial of Egypt’s Morsi which is set to start next month, may bring a bounty of good stuff regarding our gal Hillary. Whether indeed the story that criminal charges will be filed against Clinton is yet to be seen. One thing for sure though, the many Egyptians who stuck out their neck to get rid of the Muslim Brotherhood and Morsi in particular have to be seething at the abandonment of them, as well as the withdrawal of financial support because of the non-support of Morsi by our Muslim loving regime. Here we go:

NEW YORK – A threat to Hillary Clinton’s much anticipated 2016 presidential  campaign appears to be developing in Egypt where that nation’s government is  taking steps to criminalize the Muslim Brotherhood.

Specifically, a new criminal complaint has been filed with Egypt’s attorney  general, Hisham Barakat, alleging then-U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton  collaborated with Naglaa Mahmoud, the wife of ousted Egyptian President Mohamed  Morsi, in seeking to incite domestic insurrections to topple Abdel Fattah  el-Sisi, the Egyptian general who has been commander-in-chief of the Egyptian  armed forces, as well as minister of defense, since Aug. 12, 2012.

Researcher Walid Shoebat, a native Arabic-speaker and a former Palestinian  Liberation Organization operative, has reported  on his blog that credible news sources in Egypt have reported in Arabic that  criminal charges have been brought against Hillary Clinton and Morsi’s wife.

Muslim Brotherhood goes on trial in Egypt

WND first  reported in August that criminal charges have been filed against Malik  Obama, half-brother to President Barack Obama, for his involvement allegedly  managing funds for a terrorist organization based in neighboring Sudan as well  as for the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt.

A criminal trial against former Egyptian president Mohamed Morsi is scheduled  to begin in Egypt in January 2014, with Morsi facing charges that he supported  the Muslim Brotherhood in acts of violence directed against the Egyptian  people.

President Obama is likely to be a subject in Morsi’s criminal trial given  evidence the Obama administration used to U.S. Embassy in Cairo to provide  direct financial support to key Muslim Brotherhood political operatives, with  the full knowledge and complicity of the Morsi government, as WND  first reported in August.

DHS Muslim Adviser: ‘Egyptian Coptics attacked by Muslim Brotherhood deserved it’

So Obama’s Dalia Moghaed blames the Coptic Christians for being slaughtered and over 80 churches burned?

DHS Muslim Adviser: Egyptian Christians Attacked By The Muslim Brotherhood Had It Coming To Them… Before we get to that:

And just who is she? Egyptian born and “veiled”, she conducted her first interview with notorious Jew-hater and America-hater Sheik Yusuf Al-Qaradawi’s extremist Islamic website, Islam Online when appointed by Obama. From the post:

Cair plans to plant Muslim interns on key hill staffs  October, 2009

During this week’s broadcast, she described her White House role as “to convey… to the President and other public officials what it is Muslims want.”

The White House adviser made the remarks on a London-based TV discussion programme hosted by Ibtihal Bsis, a member of the extremist Hizb ut Tahrir party.

The group believes in the non-violent destruction of Western democracy and the creation of an Islamic state under Sharia Law across the world. Ed: Right, this group believes in non-violence like the rest of them

During the 45-minute discussion, on the Islam Channel programme Muslimah Dilemma earlier this week, the two members of the group made repeated attacks on secular “man-made law” and the West’s “lethal cocktail of liberty and capitalism”.

They called for Sharia Law to be “the source of legislation” and said that women should not be “permitted to hold position of leadership in government”.

Miss Mogahed made no challenge to these demands and said that “promiscuity” and the “breakdown of traditional values” were what Muslims admired least about the West.

Via IPT:

Dalia Moghaed, credited with helping President Obama draft his June 2009 Cairo speech about American relations with the Islamic world, recently downplayed attacks against Egypt’s Coptic Christians on a Facebook page.

More than 80 Coptic churches were burned by Brotherhood supporters after the Egyptian military’s crackdown last month on Muslim Brotherhood encampments in Cairo. A local branch of the Muslim Brotherhood’s Freedom and Justice Party appeared to sanction violence in retaliation for the Coptic Church’s backing of the Egyptian military.

Nonetheless, Mogahed pointed the finger at the Egyptian media.

“The Egyptian media took advantage of the Copts to achieve many personal/political gains, which has angered the West,” Mogahed said in a Sept. 22 post which appeared on the Facebook page of the Egyptian Americans for Democracy and Human Rights (EADHR).

The EADHR was founded by members of the Muslim American Society (MAS), which in turn was founded as an “overt arm” of the Egyptian Brotherhood.

Mogahed isn’t the only American Islamist tied to the Obama administration to slam the Copts on social media.

In a Sept. 15 Twitter post, Mohamed Elibiary, a member of the Department of Homeland Security’s Homeland Security Advisory Council, accused American Coptic activists of fanning hatred of Islam.

“For decade since 9/11 attack extremist American #Coptic activists have nurtured anti #Islam & anti #Muslim sentiments among AM RT wing,” Elibiary wrote.

In earlier tweets, Elibiary attacked American Copts for protesting against how their relatives in Egypt have been treated by the Islamists.

“Good read by @mwhanna1 on need to reform #Coptic activism in #US including stop promoting #Islamophobia,” Elibiary wrote Sept. 14.

“I think the Obama administration should be ashamed to have had someone like this in their administration,” said Michael Meunier, president of Egypt’s Al-Haya Party and a Coptic activist. “This underscores the thinking inside the Obama administration.”

Muslim Brotherhood official arrested, worked for Clinton Foundation

What is it about this love affair for the Muslim Brotherhood? Just in case anyone thought that Bill Clinton didn’t have his long fingers in the Egypt fiasco, one can forget it. The Muslim Brotherhood has infiltrated all levels of our government, and apparently our regime wants the same for other countries as well.

A senior Muslim Brotherhood official who, until recently, had been employed by the William J. Clinton Foundation was arrested in Cairo on Tuesday and charged with inciting violence.

Gehad el-Haddad served as one of the Muslim Brotherhood’s top communications officials until Egyptian security forces seized him as part of a wider crackdown on officials loyal to ousted former President Mohamed Morsi.

Before emerging as a top Brotherhood official and adviser to Morsi, el-Haddad served for five years as a top official at the Clinton Foundation, a nonprofit group founded by former President Bill Clinton.

Just a month after El-Haddad left the Clinton Foundation to work full-time for the Brotherhood, former President Morsi was invited to deliver his first major speech at the Clinton Global Initiative (CGI), the high profile political family’s other nonprofit.

El-Haddad gained a reputation for pushing the Muslim Brotherhood’s Islamist agenda in the foreign press, where he was often quoted defending the Brotherhood’s crackdown on civil liberties in Egypt.

El-Haddad’s employment at the Clinton Foundation overlapped with his official work for the Muslim Brotherhood, which began in Cairo in February 2011 when he assumed control of the Renaissance Project, a Brotherhood-backed economic recovery program

El-Haddad regularly defended the Brotherhood’s authoritarian crackdown on civil society, even running damage control in December 2012 when Morsi supporters attacked women and children.

El-Haddad served as the Clinton Foundation’s city director from August 2007 to August 2012, according to his LinkedIn profile.

Muslim Brotherhood devastates Egypt’s Christian Churches, Obama silent

Can you imagine if the headline read. “Christians attacked and destroyed 58 Muslim Mosques?” Yet where is the outrage when we hear that it is exactly the other way around. Nuns being paraded through the streets by the Muslim Brotherhood. Homes and businesses destroyed. Christians killed. Yet nothing is heard here in America from Christian Churches. Little from the Media since it would cause Americans to reflect on Obama’s absurd Egyptian policy. Frick and Frack – McCain and Graham still out there harping that these nasty Bros should be in power. Go over to Maggie’s Notebook and read the list and know that some of these churches were over 1000 years old.

The Latest Tally Of Muslim Brotherhood Destruction Of Churches

The list of 58 recently looted and burned buildings (including convents and schools) has been verified by representatives of the Christian Churches.

Cairo (AsiaNews) – At least 58 Christian churches, schools, institutions, homes and shops have been attacked, looted and torched over the last three days by the Muslim Brotherhood and supporters of Mohamed Morsi, the former Egyptian president who was deposed on 3 July . On August 14 the army has tried to evict the sit-in of the Islamists in Rabaa El Nahda Square and Adaweya. In a wave of devastating violence, over 600 people were killed and thousands injured. But violent attacks were also carried out on Catholic, Orthodox, Evangelical churches as well as the homes and shops of Christians, as we have documented

The representatives of the Christian Churches have drawn up a list which we publish below. The list was handed over to AsiaNews by the Press Office of the Catholic Church in Egypt. List at Maggie’s Notebook

Obama and Clinton complicit in Egypt’s radicals gaining power

Did Obama and Hillary think for even a moment that the Muslim Brotherhood would not gain control of Egypt? As Obama calls them “Radical Elements?” I am no CIA operative, but it doesn’t take one to figure this whole thing out. I thought I would just go through the many posts I have done, pluck a few and do a “refresher” on what concerns were expressed. We should thank our lucky stars the military took over. Next week a refresher on Hillary’s role in the coup.

But first, let us saddle up to our gal Hillary as she preened in Tahir Square. Uploaded on Mar 16, 2011

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton made a surprise visit today to Cairo’s Tahrir Square, the epicenter of Egypt’s uprising earlier this year.  Jon Decker reports.

Clinton called the experience “thrilling.”

“To see where this revolution happened and all that it has meant to the world is extraordinary for me,” Yes indeed Hillary, how prophetic.

Egypt re-starting nuclear program

April 28, 2013 — bunkerville

Ariel Ben  Solomon of the Jerusalem  Post reports:

Earlier  this week, Egypt announced that it is seeking Russian assistance to revive its  nuclear program.

we also learn that:

Hamdi  Hassan, spokesman of the Brotherhood’s parliamentary caucus, said in 2006, “We  [Egyptians] are ready to starve in order to own a nuclear weapon that will  represent a real deterrent and will be decisive in the Arab-Israeli  conflict.”

Obama thanks Egypt – earlier that AM, Morsi threatened Israel

Egypt will continue to support Gaza against continued attacks from Israeli armed forces, President Mohamed Morsy reiterated on Friday.November 18, 2012

“Egypt is different from yesterday,” he added, referring to his predecessor ousted President Hosni Mubarak’s soft stance on the Israel-Palestine conflict.

“We assure them [Israel] that the price will be high for continued aggression, and [we tell them] you have to bear the responsibility,” Morsy continued.

During Morsy’s speech, worshipers chanted: “Khaybar, Khaybar, Oh Jews, the army of Mohamed will return,” in reference to a historical battle fought between Muslims and Jews in Saudi Arabia.

“I say to those on behalf of all the Egyptian people that Egypt today is different from yesterday, and Arabs today are different from yesterday. I say confidently that Egypt will not leave Gaza alone,” Morsy said.

Egypt’s new best friend? Iran ,September 13, 2012

Free Beacon:

U.S. intelligence agencies recently monitored a secret meeting between Egypt’s intelligence chief and a senior Iranian spy that is raising new fears the Muslim Brotherhood government in Cairo could begin covertly supporting global terrorism.

Despite the Obama administration’s efforts to put a brave face on the situation, the U.S. relationship with Egypt looks increasingly troubled, as the Muslim Brotherhood government begins to flex its muscles at home and abroad.

The Muslim Brotherhood’s election platform called for a reworked relationship with Washington based on “independence of decision” and an end to “subordination.” (Despite his pro forma resignation from the Islamist group after his election, Morsi essentially heads a Muslim Brotherhood administration.)

Egypt now moves to create ‘own foreign policy’

August 22, 2012

For the first time since his inauguration, Morsi will travel to destinations beyond the immediate region, but he won’t visit Washington – despite a invitation from President Obama, delivered personally by Deputy Secretary of State William Burns last month. Instead, he’ll head for Beijing and Tehran.

His acceptance of Iran’s invitation is a triumph for a regime that sought to insert itself into the Egyptian uprising from the outset, declaring it not a movement for democratic liberalization but an “Islamic awakening,” inspired by Iran’s own Islamic revolution. Iran’s leadership openly supported the Muslim Brotherhood candidate ahead of the presidential election.

Radical Islamic Groups gaining in Egypt

April 18, 2011

Kamal al-Halbavi, a senior member of the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood, told reporters in February he hoped that Egypt would have a “a good government, like the Iranian government, and a good president like Mr. Ahmadinejad, who is very brave.”

Meanwhile It’s just thrilling to see where this happened” Hillary Clinton, Tahir Square, Egypt

Telegraph:

The Muslim Brotherhood, Egypt’s largest Islamic movement and the founder of Hamas, has set up a network of political parties around the country that eclipse the following of the middle class activists that overthrew the regime. On the extreme fringe of the Brotherhood, Islamic groups linked to al-Qeada are organising from the mosques to fill the vacuum left by the collapse of the dictatorship.

Egyptians call our deadly duo McCain and Graham Irrational and moronic

Note to Egyptians we feel the very same way. An arrest and trial of McCain is suggested. Sounds good to me.  Earlier post McCain and Graham demand Egypt release jailed Muslim Brotherhood leaders.

Further angering Egyptians is McCain’s insistence that all arrested Brotherhood members and other Islamists be released from prison. As Musa said, McCain’s stance does not address that Brotherhood leadership is awaiting trial on serious charges: inciting terrorism, causing the murder of Egyptians, and grand treason by conspiring with foreign powers against Egypt’s interests.

McCain claims he is simply interested in the human rights of the incarcerated Brotherhood members, a statement that is additionally curious. If human rights are at issue, why has McCain and the U.S. administration been ambivalent regarding the fate of Hosni Mubarak? Morsi faces perhaps more serious charges than Mubarak does, yet McCain calls for his release.

Via PJM:

In the eyes of tens of millions of Egyptians, Senators John McCain’s and Lindsey Graham’s recent words and deeds in Egypt — which have the “blessing” of President Obama — have unequivocally proven that U.S. leadership is aligning with the Muslim Brotherhood.

Egyptian media is awash with stories of the growing anger regarding this policy.

A top advisor to Egypt’s Interim President Adly Mansour formally accused McCain of distorting facts to the benefit of the Brotherhood. He dismissed McCain’s recent remarks as “irrational” and “moronic.”Ahmed al-Zind, head of the Egyptian Judge Club, has called for the arrest and trial of McCain for “trying to destroy Egypt.” The leader of the youth movement Tamarod (meaning “Rebellion,” against the Brotherhood), which played a major role in mobilizing the June 30 revolution, said: “We reject John McCain and call on the international community to let the [Egyptian] people decide their own fate.”

Secular political commentator Ahmed Musa asserted:

These two men have made more shameless demands than the Brotherhood themselves would dare. […]

[McCain] is not a man elected by the American people to speak on their behalf; today, he speaks on behalf of an armed terrorist organization — the Muslim Brotherhood. …  We had expected [better] from these two men who came to speak with the tongue of the Brotherhood’s leadership, as if they had been recruited as two new leaders of the Brotherhood, which killed, destroyed, and burned in al-Muqattam, and now in Rab‘a al-Adawiya [the main Brotherhood militant camp]. The only thing missing is to see them in Rab‘a, surrounded by armed groups, and in their midst Muhammad Badie [supreme leader of the Brotherhood] and [U.S. Ambassador] Anne Patterson. That’s all that’s missing! Here comes Brother McCain today saying that we must “release the [Brotherhood] prisoners”. […]

Are you not aware that these people are accused of murder? Are you not aware that hundreds of Egyptians have been killed at the hands of the Brotherhood, Morsi, Shatter, Qatatni, Badie, Baltagi — have you forgotten? Did you not read the report on what happened? Or did you just blindly accept your ambassador’s words that it was a coup, that 33 million people did not go out?

McCain and Graham demand Egypt release jailed Muslim Brotherhood leaders

Our two Gopers tell Egypt how to run their show. Yes, release the Muslim Brotherhood guys because that is how one has Democracy.  Bonus Question: Is this how we get the good guys to win us some Democracy by arming the rebels – hint: al-Qaeda in Syria? These same bozos think so.

We have the media to thank that they have become the defacto spokespersons for the party. We have these two to thank for being a stodge of Obama and playing out his nasty card game. I could go through their statements as they opine on Democracy, but let the savants speak for themselves.

Rino Graham and McCain here is a reminder

These are the same people who call Jews the “descendants of apes and pigs” and regularly call for the destruction of Israel.

Via Al-Arabiya:

U.S. Senators John McCain and Lindsey Graham urged Egypt’s military-backed government to release jailed members of the Muslim Brotherhood and called on rival parties in the country to engage in a national dialogue and avoid violence.

McCain and Graham met with top military and civilian leaders in Cairo as part of international efforts to resolve a standoff with supporters of the ousted President Mohammad Mursi. “Democracy is the only viable path to stability,” said McCain, a former presidential candidate, calling for “an inclusive political process in which all Egyptians are free to participate,” AFP reported.

Both lawmakers referred to the military’s July 3 ouster of Mursi as a “coup,” something their government has been reluctant to do as it would have legal implications for the $1.3 billion dollars (977 million euros) in U.S. aid to Egypt.

“The people who are in charge were not elected, and the people who were elected are now in jail,” Graham told reporters.

“We urge the release of political prisoners,” said McCain, referring to Brotherhood members who have been detained since Mursi’s ouster by the military on July 3, the Associated Press reported.

“In a democracy, you have to talk to each other. It is impossible to talk to somebody in jail,” Graham said.  ED: P.S. Unless one winds up tortured.

Egypt kicks out Al-Jazeera, U.S. embraces news source

Every good organizer knows that control of the media is paramount. The good news is that Egypt has had enough of Al-Jazeera. Before we get the gist of it, let us have a refresher first.

Recall Obama urges Cable Companies to Carry Al-Jazeera? even though there is no question that they support the Muslim Brotherhood? That they are anti-American? Anti-Israel?

Al-Awalaki Praises Al-Jazeera, Wikileaks and Media Jihad not enough yet?

In his latest message to the Muslim world, Al-Awlaki defends the journalists of one such “trustworthy” Muslim source, Al-Jazeera, and praises the Western media source WikiLeaks.

How about our gal Hillary… she really is getting old.

“Like it or hate it, it is really effective,” Clinton said. “In fact, viewership of Al-Jazeera is going up in the United States because it is real news. You may not agree with it, but you feel like you’re getting real news around the clock instead of a million commercials and, you know, arguments between talking heads and the kind of stuff that we do on our news that is not providing information to us, let alone foreigners.”

Via American Thinker:

Al-Jazeera is filled with anti-American propaganda. It is also awash in anti-Semitism. The material broadcast stokes terror and violence.

In the U.S., Soledad O’Brien and other journalists have flocked to Al Jazeera,  but in the Middle East, the network  for the past week has been facing a  major challenge to its credibility  including mass staff resignations, a  raid of one of its offices, its reporters  kicked out of a news  conference by fellow journalists, and the arrest of some  of its staffers  by Egyptian security forces.

The dramatic developments are the  result of widespread perceptions in Egypt  and in the Arab world that Al  Jazeera has shown a pro-Muslim Brotherhood slant  in its reporting. With  the demise of President Mohammed

According to Gulf News, anchor Karem Mahmoud of Al  Jazeera’s Mubasher Misr  channel announced that the resignations were  motivated by what he called  “biased coverage” of the events leading up  to the ouster of the Muslim  Brotherhood-aligned former President Morsi.

The news anchor revealed that Al  Jazeera management would instruct each  staff member to favor the Muslim  Brotherhood in their broadcasts. According to  Gulf News, Mahmoud said that “there are instructions to us to telecast certain  news”.

Marc Sievers from US Embassy Egypt ‘inappropriate’ to call about dead American

Looks like the Muslims are having a set back in Egypt. While Obama parties, Egypt is about to go up in flames. This is what Billions of our dollars, F-16s, tanks have brought to this country. Meanwhile, the sad news of an American citizen killed brings little concern to the Embassy. When a reporter inquires, the 10:pm phone call goes unanswered. Mr. Sievers has been trained well.

UPDATE:

Via Fox:

“We can confirm that a U.S. citizen was killed in Alexandria, Egypt,” Patrick Ventrell, State Department Press Office Director, told Fox. “We are providing appropriate consular assistance from our embassy in Cairo and our Bureau of Consular Affairs at the State Department.  We do not have further information to provide at this time.”

The administration also warned against travel to Egypt and also said it would allow some nonessential staff and the families of personnel at the U.S. embassy in Cairo to leave Egypt until conditions improve.

Couldn’t see this coming when sending F16s and billions of dollars to the Morsi regime…

Marc Sievers is the U.S. Embassy Deputy Chief of Mission. Apparently, when Marc Sievers was contacted, he felt it was inappropriate because it was 10pm or something.

If this quote from Sievers is true, then he better resign immediately from his postition. Based on Obama’s track record of protecting Americans overseas near or in embassies, this is just another day in Obamaville.

Nancy Youssef who tweeted this is a McClatchy Newspapers’ Middle East Bureau chief. She’s not some random Twitter user who could just make something like this up.

Others on Twitter are furious as well.

This tweet below is from McClatchy New’s Nancy Youssef who called the Deputy Chief Of Mission Marc Sievers for information, but she was rebuffed, despite apologizing for the lateness of the hour.

Nancy Youssef is the Middle East bureau chief for McClatchy Newspapers, has posted an unbelievable tweet:

Unbelievable:

“You are a really inappropriate to be calling me about this at 10 p.m.” U.S. No 2 in Mark Sievers, about possible dead citizen.

114 Retweets      14 favorites

Well, carrying on in the grand Obama tradition. Americans under fire in Benghazi, Ambassador in danger, Obama goes to sleep. Why should Marc Sievers be bothered? It’s after 10! Are you not civilized, Ms. Youssef, how can you bother him?
