Obama plans on bringing in even more third world ‘immigrants’

If anyone out there thinks Obama is giving us the magical finger, the headlines says it all. Of course, this doesn’t count for all those who stay beyond their approved Visa’s. So not satisfied bringing in Central America, let’s bring in Haiti, the ultimate cesspool of humanity.“The rebuilding and development of a safe and economically strong Haiti is a priority for the United States,” – sure forget America. It is being reported by Judicial Watch as well and picked up by major bloggers that Obama plans on bringing in Ebola patients. Is he just pulling our chain? If true, it should be an impeachable offense.

Obama Plans to Let Ebola-infected Foreigners Into U.S. for Treatment

Washington, DC – Judicial Watch has learned that the Obama administration is actively formulating plans to admit Ebola-infected non-U.S. citizens into the United States for treatment.  Specifically, the goal of the administration is to bring Ebola patients into the United States for treatment within the first days of diagnosis. DHS OPENS DOOR TO NEW IMMIGRANTS FROM HAITI, EXTENDS SPECIAL PROTECTIONS FOR HONDURAN, NICARAGUAN IMMIGRANTS

DHS announced a new program to allow thousands, the Miami Herald reported, of Haitians to legally come to the United States.

According to DHS, the Haitian Family Reunification Parole (HFRP) Program will expedite the “family reunification” of U.S. citizens and lawful permanent residents who have family members in Haiti by allowing such immigrants whose family-based visa petitions have already been approved come to the U.S. two years early.

“The rebuilding and development of a safe and economically strong Haiti is a priority for the United States,” Deputy Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas said in a statement. ”The Haitian Family Reunification Parole program promotes a fundamental underlying goal of our immigration system – family reunification.”

The program will also allow the new immigrants to apply for work permits.

The Dept. of Homeland Security announced Friday that is will be extending Temporary Protected Status to nationals from Honduras and Nicaragua for an additional 18 months and instituting a new program to bring thousands of Haitian immigrants to U.S.

Temporary Protected Status is a designation the DHS secretary may declare for certain foreign countries if “conditions in the country that temporarily prevent the country’s nationals from returning safely, or in certain circumstances, where the country is unable to handle the return of its nationals adequately.”

The status allows the protected nationals — in this case those from Honduras and Nicaragua — to remain and be eligible to work in the United States.

An aide to Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-AL) noted that these re-authorizations and new program is coming at a time when the middle class is struggling, 48 million Americans are in poverty and net unemployment growth in the U.S. has largely gone to immigrants since 2000.

“As numerical context for these executive actions, keep in mind that the Census Bureau reports that total immigration levels have reached a record 41.3 million,” the aide emailed. “Each year, the US issues 1 million green cards to permanent immigrants (largely lesser-skilled), 700,000 guest worker permits, 500,000 foreign students, and 70,000 refugees and asylees.”

Obama DHS Now EXPEDITING Visa Requests From Ebola-Infected Countries

Two posts today, if my earlier one wasn’t a blockbuster, this one should make us sick. Literally. Dept. of Homeland Insecurity

UPDATE: From Judicial Watch No sources other than the post. Washington Examiner now carrying the story with clip.

Back to the post:

Wondering how Thomas Eric Duncan was able to enter the U.S. while suffering from Ebola? He asked for a visa and received one in August.

In fact, the Department of Homeland Security is proudly advertising its “Ebola Outbreak-related Immigration Relief Measures to Nationals of Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone Currently in the United States.”

You read that right. Not only are the Obama Democrats leaving our doors wide open to those seeking entry from Ebola-infected countries, they’re actually expediting visa requests!

DHS: ‘Americans ‘Susceptible to Claims That We Have an Open, Porous Border’

Don’t you just love it when we are treated like idiots? This story caught my eye only because last week this fellow DHS Johnson was on Fox News, and Bret Bair asked him what had become of the four suspected terrorists that were caught on our Southern border. His answer was “I don’t know.” Then during a break when the interview began again, someone had slipped him a note saying they were in detention. I was determined to see where this story was going to go. No doubt Eric Holder has lawyered them up. Note the operative word. “Will” be deported. Will? Doubt it. And even if they are, they will be coming back full-bore. Apparently we just don’t appreciate the DHS enough. Here we go:

Our southern border is much more secure than the American people think it is, Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson told a gathering in Washington on Thursday.

“Not enough has been said publicly by our government in a clear, concise way, about our border security efforts on behalf of the American people. And in the absence of facts, the American public is susceptible to claims that we have an open, porous border, through which unaccompanied minors and members of terrorist organizations such as ISIL may pass.”

“In September, the public heard a claim that four individuals with suspected ties to terrorism in the Middle East had attempted to cross our southern border. Far fewer know that, in fact, these four individuals were arrested, their supposed link to terrorism was thoroughly investigated and checked, and, in the end, amounted to a claim by the individuals themselves that they were members of the Kurdish Workers Party, an organization actually fighting against ISIL and defended Kurdish territory in Iraq.

Johnson said the four people will be deported. (Get out the old laugh-o-meter)

If the numbers are dwindling, why is the government opening new detention facilities? a reporter asked.

“Well, as I said in my prepared remarks, a lot of migration is seasonal,” Johnson said. “And so, we’ve got to, in my view, guard against the same thing happening again. And so, we want to build additional capability that can be converted from one type of use to another on pretty short notice.

The search for Eric Frein seemed to intensify Monday as state troopers and specialized agents continued to comb central Monroe County.

Police presence along Route 447 north of Eric Matthew Frein’s home and 390 south remained heavy, as armed state troopers stood watch on a perimeter northwest of where they have been about a week. Camouflaged men pushed through a section of Barrett Township covered in trees and tall grass.

News from the gulag.

Adam Christmann, a 43-year-old security and counter-terrorism consultant whose clients include the U.S. Air Force, has lived in the Hamlet, as it is called, for 14 years and raised his family here. He’s had his share of nervous moments. His two daughters, age 9 and 12, both go to the East Stroudsburg schools and count on the school bus to fetch them each day. Early on, however, school officials decided it was too dangerous to send buses into the hot zone. So Christmann drove them.

One evening, though, his family was broken apart. Fetching his older daughter, he returned, only to find the entire area in “lockdown” — no one goes in or out — his wife and younger daughter inside. By 11:30 they found their way home. But at least 20 of his neighbors had not. They made their way to the local firehouse, only to find no cots, no where to sleep.

“Someone dropped the ball,” Christmann sighed. For what had become effectively state of emergency, there was no federal or state emergency workers in sight.

For folks like Christmann, “the current issue facing residents up here is ‘how/when do we return to normal life?’ Or is a heavy police presence, helicopters and uncertainty the ‘new normal’? I think that uncertainty is what is causing the most stress—not an actual feel of being in danger.”

Still, these tight-knight communities have suffered over the past two weeks in a host of ways, large and small—often less than apparent to many on the outside looking in. At least 13 homes were on the block for sale in the Hamlet alone before Eric Frein fired his fatal shots two weeks ago.

Al Hall, an historian who’s lived here with his wife Mary, put their house up for sale as they no longer feel competent to care for themselves and their house. They are looking to move to an assisted living community in upstate New York. “But the real estate broker can’t show the house til the emergency is over,” Hall said, shaking his head. No sense of when the next lock-down might be called.

Latest Update 9/24/14: Unfortunately not the truth. Why would the Red Cross set up a shelter? Just asking.

A message from PA State Police #Frein 09.23.2014/6:23 p.m.:
‘It has come to our attention that media reports exist that indicate the Pennsylvania State Police were not allowing residents to access their homes during our search efforts for Eric Frein. To clear up any misconceptions regarding the search, we have been diligent in respecting the rights of the public while working hard to keep both residents and law enforcement personnel safe. We need to be deliberate and methodical in our operations, as we still believe that Eric Frein is armed and very dangerous. At no time did we completely restrict access to homes in the area. If a resident required access to their home for a vital reason such as retrieving medication, we provided an escort to their home to ensure their safety. There is currently no shelter in place advisory and access to homes is not affected. The Pennsylvania State Police appreciate the assistance and patience we have received from the public as our search efforts continue.

Back to the post.

They say they are closing in. Let us hope. So much for Emergency Planning. The Red Cross is setting up shop. After 11 days?? I guess this is for those still sleeping in cars.

So much for the end of “Shelter in Place.”

State police told stranded residents Monday afternoon that they will try to allow those who need to get to their homes to check on their children and/or pets, or retrieve any needed medications.

Police did say, however, that stranded residents may need to work out contingency plans.

“Whenever whatever’s happening now is done happening, we’ll start taking you to your homes. We don’t know when that’s going to be,” police told the stranded residents Monday afternoon.

UPDATE: Price Twp. newcomers separated from their 4 daughters for 2 straight nights – 11:27 am  Monday, September 22, 2014

Stranded at the blockade near Snow Hill Road as the manhunt continues, Steve Heller and Tara Knichel of Rock Ledge Estates, Price Township, spent the second night in a row, Sunday night into Monday, separated from their four daughters ages 7 to 17.

Heller: “It’s frustrating being separated from our girls. They don’t know what’s going on with us. We have a cell phone and charger in our car so we try to stay in touch

Rick Szlachta from South Carolina is visiting his mother in Price Township: “I came up Thursday and got separated from my mom (Sunday night) with the blockade. I’ve been in touch with her by cellphone.

Back to the post:

“The parsing of the words defining what took place in Northeastern Pennsylvania has come to an end. No longer is the phrase “Residents are being asked to Shelter in place” to “Order lifted.” And just who lifted the order? All week-long I have been asking who is doing the so called “asking “when people are threatened at being arrested. A virtual media blackout has been implemented. Just who was it that got out their phone and pen? Turns out it was the Department of Homeland Security. There is a surprise ending regarding the DHS involvement and their spokesperson at the end of the post. Ride with me as we go down the rabbit hole. What has life been like for the residents? More tomorrow on life in the gulag.

A friend of mine  just called me whose residence is within “The Hot Zone”. Both she and her son are forced for the second night to stay in a hotel. Second night of not being permitted to go home. She and her son are without their medications. She with an expensive Glaucoma medicine that cannot at this point is able to get a replacement.  The hotels are packed and she got the last room at the lucky price of $175.00 a night. The only clothes they had were the clothes on their back, forcing them to go to Walmarts to pick up the basics. No provisions for taking care of anyone regarding sleeping arrangements. The so-called Volunteer Barrett Fire House called an “Evacuation Site” is anything but that. They were sent to this a location that has no beds and only had potato chips and water to offer. Later it was learned that locals had brought in additional food. So people are forced to sleep in cars if they cannot afford or get a room. This is crazy. They were threatened at being arrested if not willing to comply.

The Pennsylvania State Police are asking all residents of Barrett and Price Townships to shelter in place immediately.

Please do not go outdoors and remain away from windows or openings to the outside.

Police are in the process of searching the area.

Please stay tuned to media outlets for further information.

Shelter-in-place order lifted for Barrett, Price townships

State police are lifting a shelter in place order for the area of northeastern Pennsylvania where a manhunt for the suspect in a trooper ambush is underway.

CANADENSIS, Pa. — State police are lifting a shelter-in-place order for the area of northeastern Pennsylvania where a manhunt for the suspect in a trooper ambush is underway. Homeland Security spokeswoman Maria Finn said in an emailed statement late Saturday that residents should use extreme caution as they move back into their homes in Barrett and Price Townships. She says police strongly recommend that residents stay inside and not enter the dense woods were officers are searching for Eric Frein.

Police taking ‘extreme’ precautions in ambush suspect search

Earlier September 20, 2014

At 7:45 a.m. this morning, state police are still asking all residents of Barrett and Price townships to state in indoors and away from windows. (Meanwhile, citizens are being threatened with arrest).

An evacuation center is in place and there are reports that residents who could not get to their homes either stayed at the center or slept in their cars last night as the search for Eric Frein continues in the Bear Town Road area off Route 447. Ed. How about our pets and medications? How did they “stay” when there were no beds?

Late Saturday, authorities lifted a “shelter in place” order but urged residents returning home to use caution and to stay out of the dense, boggy woodlands where the search was underway.

Investigators have been using a community center at the Hamlet, a private community very close to Frein’s home, since Thursday, according to an e-mail from the property owners’ association. Two state troopers holding rifles ordered The Times-Tribune to leave the area when reporters approached the clubhouse.

Now for the surprise ending. Just who is Maria Finn??

While trying to find any information on who Homeland Security spokeswoman Maria Finn is, and who had that pen, I find she knows all about crashing computers and missing documents. A perfect fit for her position, and we know how she got it. Her earlier position gave her some great experience.

November 8, 2010

HARRISBURG, Pa. (AP) — A newspaper says the former director of the Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency destroyed homeland-security reports from a contractor, but copies survived on another employee’s computer.

The Patriot-News reported Saturday that James Powers acknowledged in e-mails he shredded reports from the Institute of Terrorism Research and Response, which was supposed to monitor threats to the state’s infrastructure.

The newspaper says that may violate state rules requiring retention of certain records.

Gov. Ed Rendell refused to renew the institute’s contract after disclosure that its reports included information about peaceful protests by citizen groups including gay-rights advocates and critics of natural-gas drilling. Powers resigned shortly afterward.

PEMA spokeswoman Maria Finn says copies of the records were found an another employee’s computer and were being provided to people who filed Right-to-Know Law requests.

Corker and Chaffetz at hearings and socks it to the government- Video

After watching yesterday’s various hearings, I have attempted to put together three of my favorite hits. Guaranteed to give you a lot of fireworks, display the contempt this government has for us, and to otherwise be worthy of your time.  First, the most explosive with our man Kerry. (This is a duplicate that I offered as well with the vote to arm the Syrian rebels today). What would be a hit without Lerch. Lerch suggests that ISIS has been put on their heels by the Free Syrian Army. Then Chaffetz gives it to DHS, and finally a rather obscure clip when this DHS fellow is shown mocking us. Put your feet up and Enjoy!

Wednesday at the Senate Foreign Relation Committee hearing on U.S. strategy for combating ISIS, Sen. Bob Corker (R-TN) criticized President Barack Obama, Vice President Joe Biden and Secretary of State John Kerry as “three senators” exercising “terrible judgment” on the U.S. strategy against ISIS. A written portion follows.

Kerry got into a heated exchange with Corker who said, “I want to say as I said personally, we have three senators, president, vice president, secretary of state, that are exercising terrible judgment right now. And to say that you’re going to do this regardless of what we say, you’re not going to ask for buy-in by the United States Senate or House of Representatives on behalf of the American people in a conflict that’s going to be multiyear. Some people say a decade. Taking us into another country with a different enemy, is exercising the worst judgment possible.”

“I’ve said this to you as strongly as I can personally, that in essence what you’re saying to the chairman right now, saying if Congress wants to play a constructive role, we would welcome that, to me, this is a political game and I’m disappointed that you as secretary of state, being chairman of this committee, espousing the views you have espoused,” he added.

Chaffetz to DHS Sec.: Do you know of any known terrorists apprehended at the southwest border.

Hearing: “Worldwide Threats to the Homeland”
House Homeland Security Full Committee
Sept. 17, 2014

During a House Homeland Security Committee hearing today focused on worldwide threats to America, Rep. Jason Chaffetz (R-Utah), asked DHS Secretary Jeh Johnson whether he is “aware of any apprehensions of suspected or known terrorists” who have attempted to enter the U.S. illegally during his tenure as homeland security chief.  Johnson was sworn in as the fourth DHS secretary on December 23, 2013. When asked if he was aware of that situation, Johnson said, “I’ve heard reports to that effect. I don’t know the accuracy of the reports or how much credence to give them, but I’ve heard reports to that effect.”

“I do agree with you that the challenge of those coming from countries other than Mexico particularly into the Rio Grande Valley sector [in Texas] is one I’m very concerned about. It’s something I’ve been concerned about since I took office in January,” the DHS secretary told Rep. Chaffetz. “I’ve seen it myself at our detention center in Brownsville when I visited there in January, there was something like 80 nationalities of illegal migrants present there.”

The congressman from Utah, citing an “internal” DHS document as the source, said that so far this fiscal year (Sept.1 thru October 30), the U.S. has apprehended aliens from 143 different countries trying to illegally enter the U.S., including 13 individuals from Syria, 6 from Iraq, and 4 from Iran.

Those countries have been identified by the U.S. government as having ties to terrorism.

Rep. Chaffetz noted that although nearly 466,000 illegal aliens have been apprehended so far in fiscal 2014, an estimated 157,012 have been identified as “got-aways” and 142,630 as “turn-backs.”

Finally this clip where we are mocked.

During this interview, Mr. Johnson opines that everyone here illegally will willingly come forward and that will make for a safer America. Mr. Barletta takes him to task and asks whether drug dealers will come forward as well. Note the smirk.

D.O.D. gives 12,000 fixed bayonets to local Police

Rand Paul asked some interesting questions during a hearing on Tuesday. Say what you want about Paul, he is one of a few willing to hold this administration’s feet to the fire. Just why do the police need bayonets? Anyone recall Kent State? Bayonets were at the ready on that day. Just saying.

Tuesday in Washington D.C. at a Senate Hearing from the Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee on the Department of Defense selling military grade weapons to local police forces, Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) grilled Alan F. Estevez, the Assistant Secretary of Defense and from Homeland Security, and FEMA Brian Kamoie, over local police being suppliedwith armored personnel carriers and thousands of bayonets.

Partial transcript as follows:

PAUL ….

But confronting those with armored personnel carriers is thoroughly un-American and for 150 years, we’ve had rules separating the military, keeping the military out of policing affairs. But you sort of obscure that separation if you allow the police to become the military.

In FEMA’s authorized equipment list there’s actually written descriptions for how the equipment should be used and it says it’s specifically not supposed to be used for riot suppression. Mr. Kamoie, is that true, that it’s not supposed to be used for riot suppression? And how do you plan on policing that since the images clearly show us large pieces of equipment that were bought with your grants used in that riot suppression, or protest suppression rather?”

KAMOIE: Sen. Paul, that is accurate. The categories of personal protective equipment that include helmets, ear and eye protection, ballistics, personal protective equipment. There’s a prohibition in the authorized equipment list not to be used for riot suppression.

PAUL:

So I think by supplying all of this free equipment, much of which is, frankly, inappropriate, really shouldn’t be on anybody’s list of authorized equipment. Mr. Estevez, in the NPR investigation of 1033 program they list that 12,000 bayonets have been given out. What purpose are bayonets being given out for?

ESTEVEZ: Senator, bayonets are available under the program. I can’t answer what a local police force would need a bayonet for.

PAUL: I can give you an answer: None. So, what’s President Obama’s Administration’s position on handing out bayonets to the police force? It’s on your list. You guys create the list. Are you going to take it off the list or are we going to keep doing it?

Homeland Security raids home to seize Land Rover over EPA violation UPDATE

UPDATE: Video with the victim by Fox News added.
I could not think of a better companion piece to the Lawsuit vote taken yesterday by the House against this out of control government that appears to have no bounds. To all the trolling Obamabots, is this how you wish to live in America? The DHS grabbing your stuff under what purview? Yet, this story barely makes a ripple. Sadly, it is no longer rare. Every single agency is out of control.

Here we go:

In another example of how the Department of Homeland Security has expanded far outside the purview of its original function, six vehicles full of DHS agents were required to seize a Land Rover from a couple in Statesville, N.C. due to the fact that the vehicle allegedly violates EPA emission standards. As part of its mission to “protect the Homeland,” the DHS has been busy seizing imported vehicles that don’t comply with safety and CO2 regulations.

Jennifer and Bill Brinkley were satisfied that their $60,000 dollar purchase of a Land Rover Defender on eBay complied with regulations because it fell into the exemption category of a vehicle 25 years or older. However, when DHS agents turned up at the property, they compared the car’s Vehicle Identification Number to a list and immediately seized the Land Rover. The couple were not given “a chance to debate the issue.”

WBTV’s Steve Ohnesorge said DHS agents conducted “almost like a raid to get the car.”

“it’s just unnerving the way they did it,” said Bill Brinkley.
