The consular staff were moved to the safe house after the attack on the consul building in which the ambassador was killed, minister Wanis Al-Sharif told a news conference.
A plane with U.S. security units arrived from the capital Tripoli to evacuate other staff, but militants discovered the location of the safe house, he said.
“It was supposed to be a secret place, and we were surprised the armed groups knew about it. There was shooting,” he said

So-called pundits have been denying on television all day that this is not a declaration of war. Maybe not from the view of the Muslim sympathizers in the Obama administration but through the eyes of those of us who have been blogging this for years and from the eyes of jihadist, it is exactly that.
