With all of this kerfuffle over the ad that Obama’s so-called PAC ran with the dying steel worker’s wife whose end came at the hands of Romney, we are not addressing what is Romney going to do with the idiotic statement by his less than attractive Press Secretary Andrea Saul? All he can say about the ad is that he is dissapointed?
If this is an example of what Romney’s astute capability of selecting talent is, we are indeed lost. I am already at a slow burn with him dancing around with who his VP pick is going to be. I suppose it will be Portman. Someone of equal energy and charisma. Add to my slow burn, is his early announcements of who will be the headliners at the Republican convention. Jeb Bush, Good old McCain. No Allen West, no Sarah Palin, No Michelle Bachmann. The folks who carried the early water to get him to where he got. Kind of a dismissal of the Tea Party foiks I would say. No matter how one feels about Sarah, she for one brought the GOP back from a moribund state. By the way, besides being the press secretary for Romney, Andrea Saul was the same face for McCain, in case one thought it rang a bell.
Influential conservative blogger Erick Erickson tweeted this afternoon that Saul’s slip-up may have been the moment that cost Romney the election:
OMG .. this just might be the moment Romney lost the election. WOW

But his choice this morning brings it back! Ryan is an inspired pick. This choice makes clear which way Romney will go relative to our most critical issues – budget, debt, deficits and tax and entitlement reform. Now if only he would replace Saul with Michelle Malkin… I can always dream!

I am with you Phil. This put a spring in my step. But he still needs a better spokesperson. We cannot have these gaff. A good pick indeed.

We have to remove Obama, one way or another, it’s that simple..
No matter how bad Romney and his administration may be, there is no way in hell they can be as bad as ANYTHING Obama and Company can foist off on us…
And again, here we are, the lesser of the evils…

Yes, I agree. Just very frustrated he doesnt seem to get it together.

Just when Romney was gaining some momentum, she goes and crashes the car…
It’s still early, but let’s hope this is not a sign of things to come.
I agree with you on Portman. They guy’s got Bush administration stink all over him, as does Condi Rice. They’re both good people, but we don’t need to make this another anti-Bush election. He should pick Rubio or Jindal and get on with it.

I am with you. The last time we had some momentum,Romney’s spokeman agreed that Obamacare had a tax. We will see this ad nauseum in Obama’s ads. I will try and perk up.
) Please pick the darn VP and lets get it on. Stop being coy. Early voting starts in Florida in Sept I heard.

Ouch, Andrea!
I thought Portman was out?

I didn’t hear that Portman was out… that would bring a bit of hope. I made a commitment not to go negative about Romney, but I am plum wore out!

It was a grim day yesterday. Grim indeed. And all Romney can say he is dissapointed?
