I took a bit of time off this weekend, so I apologize to my regulars. We have a very big week coming up. The Arizona Immigration case, and of course Obamacare among others. These two issues are inextricably linked together. Illegals are destroying our healthcare system to the tune of Billions, driving many smaller hospitals into the red. States, thus U.S. citizens must pick up the tab. Private Insurance companies have been expected in the past to help pick up the tab when negotiating contracts with Hospitals. One of the reasons for the rising insurance costs. So I found this short clips that I believe clearly tie these two issues together that are rarely found in the same discussion. Next is a brand new 30 sec ad regarding H-1b Visas for Engineers and why Obama can’t wait to bring them over.
Government hearing where Mary Clayto of the Martin County Hospital in Florida describes the costs and problems the hospital has incurred treating illegal immigrants. The INS provides no assistance in deportation.
Numbers USA . put out this short ad which is a great website if you are interested in Immigration Stats.
Jennifer Wedel, whose engineer husband was laid off three years ago, asks Pres. Obama during an online Town Hall meeting why the government continues to bring in 1 million new immigrants when so many Americans can’t find a full-time job. According to the Center for Immigration Studies, 1.8 million engineers are either unemployed or not working in the engineering field.

A friend of mine from Reno, NV is an ER nurse. She said every single day they have illegals come to the hospital. They supply identification as an America citizen, and they have an Hispanic American advocate with them to help them across the hurdles. They cannot turn the people away and they know they are illegal. When they leave the hospital they cannot be found again for any associated costs.
I am fighting mad at what has happened today to Arizona. The move of the administration is appalling, but not surprising. As Judge Napolitano says, we have to vote them out of Arizona. Small consolation to the people living near the border.

I work in healthcare as well. The babies born often stay in the neonatology unit for weeks free of charge of course. What a day for AZ. Then holder pulls the plug. Thanks for stopping by.

Wow! That first clip was a real eye-opener. Thanks for finding and sharing that vid. In my opinion, the hospitals shoud sue Homeland Security for not doing their job or , at least, for reimburssment. The tax payers and those that have insurance are picking up this tab. Outrageous!!!

Like our education system, if our enemies had foisted such an immigration system upon us, it would be considered an act of war…

Very true. Add the expense to our educational system, legal system and one knows why these people are bankrupting us.
