QUESTION: “The administration has issued a regulation that will require all healthcare plans to cover sterilization and all FDA approved contraceptives including those that induce abortions. This will force Catholic individuals and institutions to act against their consciences. All across the nation..”
PELOSI: “Is this a speech or do we have a question disguised as speech?”
QUESTION:We cannot and will not comply with this law. Will you stand with your fellow Catholics in opposing this law?
PELOSI: I’m going to stand with my fellow Catholics in supporting the administration on this. I think it was a very courageous decision that they made and I support it.
As Adriennne comments: Please take note of the weird shuffling of papers and rearranging of the podium by Pelosi. Is it outright rudeness, or is she really losing it?

She obviously didn’t want to address the issue and since this is her turf she can be aloof and indifferent to the one asking the question. Knowing the district she represents, she is a perfect fit for her constituents. I just don’t understand how she got any power in congress. It is mind boggling.

That shuffling of papers is the shuffling of her mind thinking “What do I do KNOW?” It’s a rusty mind from lack of use, so……..it makes noise.!
How can ANY Catholic support this administration? For her to say “I stand with Catholics in that…” is NUTS.
Here’s a president who voted 4 times in Illinois to make sure that babies who survived bothced abortions not be saved and she’s with HIM? ptui

I have many fellow Catholics who are not even currently practicing, who far better represent and live in accord with the tenets of our faith in a way far superior to Pelosi. She is disgusting.

She’s the one who just a few short years ago informed everyone that Catholic Church doctrine was not yet settled on the issue of abortion! She’s a dunce who obviously does not take her faith seriously.
