Romney: ‘Obamacare – keep the good, repeal the bad’

Romney says: “I hope we’re ultimately able to eliminate some of the differences, and repeal the bad and keep the good.”

Florida’s Seniors best keep their ear to the ground and listen to the words of Romney if they are concerned about their Healthcare. He doesn’t mention that MA gets massive federal subsidies, among other things.  See our earlier post Mitt Romney’s adviser-’You will not repeal Obamacare’

Obamacare needs to be dragged out into the sun, rubbed in garlic, shot with a silver bullet, and a stake driven through it’s heart.  After which, to be safe, it should be buried 50 feet down.

Frankly, Mitt is lying when he says he will ‘on the first day’ (can presidents repeal legislation like that…?): RomneyCare is the template for ObamaCare, and there is precious little daylight between them… he’s never made any amends for that monstrosity, has he.

What is perhaps most interesting about the video, says Klein, is that in it Romney “does something you’ll never hear him do these days — note the similarities between” RomneyCare and ObamaCare.

Obama – How’s the Arab Spring -What’s the plan?

We are so caught up with the back and forth of self immolation of our party candidates, that we let Obama slide with his failed foreign policy. We hear bits and pieces, well below the radar, that the radical Muslims are well on their way in taking over the newly forming governments. As I have opined before, we have little in shared values with these folks, and any capacity to emulate our form of government is practically nill. So here we go, just a glimpse into the hearts and minds of our new-found friends.  First  we have:

Then on to Libya:

The humanitarian aid group Doctors Without Borders said it was halting its work in detention centers in Misrata because detainees are “tortured and denied urgent medical care.”

“Patients were brought to us for medical care between interrogation sessions, so that they would be fit for further interrogation. This is unacceptable. Our role is to provide medical care to war casualties and sick detainees, not to repeatedly treat the same patients between torture sessions.”

Christopher Stokes, general director of MSF, told CNN that two detainees died — one in October and another in November — within 30 minutes of being interrogated.

In a statement, Amnesty described “widespread torture and ill-treatment of suspected pro-Gadhafi fighters and loyalists,” a reference to those who fought for the regime of leader Moammar Gadhafi until his ouster and death. More at CNN
