Thank you American Patriots

Tea Partiers will party on Tuesday!  Sarah was the first to make this race an issue when she bucked the Republican establishment and made the headlines we needed. Will Chris Matthews get a tingle up his leg with this one??? Lets see how the MSM deals with this.

Republican state Assemblywoman Dierdre Scozzafava has suspended her campaign for upstate New York’s 23rd Congressional seat, giving a possible boost to Conservative Party nominee Doug Hoffman against Democrat Bill Owens, Fox News has confirmed.

The move comes on the heels of a new poll that showed Scozzafava had fallen behind her two competitors in a race too close.

The special election is Tuesday and political analysts believe upstate New York is a preview of the races in 2010 and 2012 as Republican leaders struggle to rebuild, redefine and regain control of Washington.

The Siena College poll has Owens picking up 36 percent of the vote, while Hoffman has 35 percent. Scozzafava has 20 percent, with nine percent of voters undecided.

It’s a turnaround from the first Siena poll on the race in September, which had Scozzafava leading, followed by Owens and Hoffman.

Scozzafava’s team pulled the plug on the campaign after viewing the Siena poll, sources told Fox News, adding that there was no pressure from the National Republican Congressional Committee or the Republican National Committee.

Halloween Healthcare: Trick or Treat?

This year at Halloween, the Feds will be going door to door playing trick or treat on seniors by taking their Medicare coverage. When they knock, TrickOrTreatseniors should not answer the door. When they peek through the peephole, the bureaucrats will be dressed as snake oil salesmen because they are cutting Medicare parts A, B, C and D. They are going to try to sell seniors on the new bill which we call Medicare part E, but it doesn’t cover one senior citizen. Not one. Just call it Halloween health care because it is really scary

.
This new Medicare part E takes a half-trillion dollars out of Medicare, but it doesn’t cover the seniors. In this new Medicare part E, the “E” stands for everybody else, including those in the country illegally.
The nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office says the Halloween health care will do the following things: It will cut Medicare part A for hospitals by $128 billion. It will cut Medicare part B for doctor reimbursement $130 billion. It will rob Medicare part C, Medicare Advantage, off $133 billion. We are not through yet. And yes, Medicare part D for prescription drugs is cut $20 billion. The total: $411 billion cut for seniors and Medicare. That is enough to scare everybody.

Watch out for U.N. Copenhagen-they say deal impossible, but

We need to stay alert on this one, the Global warming Treaty.Don’t fall asleep.Note: The Political Deal must be struck so they say. Beware of  forked tongues.. impossible? On the Bennett program, it was discussed that the intent is to process many of the details. The E.U. is on board. One of the main features is a one world government where countries wind up giving up many of their rights to a commision, including a legal system.

Amsterdam:The U.N. climate change chief says reaching a final global warming treaty will be impossible this year, but that the principles of that accord must be determined at a conference in December. Yvo de Boer says the treaty’s details can be filled in over the next year, but the political deal must be struck at the Copenhagen conference and “time is running out.” He says finances are the key to a Copenhagen agreement. He urged European Union leaders at a summit this week to…for full story.

U.N. to investigate U.S. Housing – Violates Human Rights?

Everybody knows New York City is an expensive place to live. But the United Nations wants to know if affordable housing is so tough to come by that it actually violates human rights.

Housing advocates will be taking Ms. Rolnik to the Atlantic Yards site in Brooklyn to see the results of the government’s use of eminent domain to seize property; to the New York City Housing Authority’s Grant Houses in Harlem to see how public housing residents live; and to the Bronx to meet residents whose landlords are in foreclosure. The U.N. will open a probe—for the first time ever— into human rights violations by the United States because of a perception that there isn’t enough affordable public housing in urban areas.

Well, this is one that sorta leaves you thinking, yo Donald, whatcha gonna do when they come for you! Hey, U,N. take a look around in your Neighborhood. It’s a story thats been around, but worth adding it to the agenda of ridding ourselves of this perverse institution.

AARP Selling out Seniors

For the life of me I can’t figure out what kind of a ‘deal’ these folks offer but they spend a lot on trying to tell you about it!   Comrade Matrix believes AARP is like the unions.  They were good when they first started but like the unions, money has corrupted their agenda and they have learned how to take advantage:

aarpgrannyAARP and its subsidiaries collected more than $650 million in royalties and other fees last year from the sale of insurance policies, credit cards and other products that carry the AARP name, accounting for the majority of its $1.14 billion in revenue, according to federal tax records. It does not directly sell insurance policies but lends its name to plans in exchange for a tax-exempt cut of the premiums.

Democratic proposals to slash reimbursements for another program, called Medicare Advantage, are widely expected to drive up demand for private Medigap policies like the ones offered by AARP, according to health-care experts, legislative aides and documents.

Obama lies about stimulus jobs

Wow is the Whitehouse angry. Now they are going after AP. First it was Fox, now AP- who is next??

Read the AP’s specifics on how the numbers went askew.  My personal

obama-liarliar

Liar Liar tell the truth!

favorite?  A Florida day-care center claimed to have saved 129 jobs, but the stimulus money went instead to raises for all of its employees.  Do many day-care centers employ 129 people?  How difficult would it have been to double-check the payroll figures?  After all, the company has to report income to the IRS, doesn’t it?

However, the Recovery.gov site still uses the 30,083 figure.  More numbers will come tomorrow, when states file their reports and more jobs “saved or created” get calculated.  Will White House math improve?

Congress Alarmed and Holding Hearings on Obama’s Czars

photofeature-obamaczars1

“President Obama’s decision to appoint so many czars is clearly troubling members of Congress, who have taken the unusual step of holding hearings on the issue. The decision of the two Senate committees is remarkable because a President’s management style is rarely questioned by the Senate or House during the first year of his term, especially when they are all members of the same political party. But, Obama’s decision to appoint almost 40 policy czars, and then give them broad powers and budgetary responsibilities, has created a more serious constitutional issue. “

“The Senate is primarily concerned that President Obama may be end-running the Constitution, along with the growing fear, shared by many citizens, that the power and the extraordinary amount of funding that is controlled by the Czars may be undermining the authorities of the senate-confirmed agency heads on whom the Senate has placed its imprimatur and its trust.

Czars currently influence or directly control over a trillion dollars of government spending, which is more than the spending of the entire federal government during the Reagan Administration. And, yet, few of the Obama czars were ever vetted through the traditional review process where potential conflicts of interest are revealed. Nor are Obama’s czars accountable to the Senate to justify policy or spending decisions.

In addition, three issues concerning czars continue to perplex:”

Obama Sells Whitehouse to Big Donors

Sure, we have all heard about selling the Lincoln Bedroom for a few sheckels. But one can only wonder at the cost we s-LINCONLK-largeare bearing in keeping Dear Leader’s  money machine happy. During his first nine months in office, President Obama has quietly rewarded scores of top Democratic donors with VIP access to the White House, private briefings with administration advisers and invitations to important speeches and town-hall meetings. Change you can believe in– thats Barack/

High-dollar fundraisers have been promised access to senior White House officials in exchange for pledges to donate $30,400 personally or to bundle $300,000 in contributions ahead of the 2010 midterm elections, according to internal Democratic National Committee documents obtained by The Washington Times.

One top donor described in an interview with The Times being given a birthday visit to the Oval Office. Another was allowed use of a White House-complex bowling alley for his family. Bundlers closest to the president were invited to watch a movie in the red-walled theater in the basement of the presidential mansion.

At least 39 donors and fundraisers also were treated to a lavish White House reception on St. Patrick’s Day, where the fountains on the North and South Lawns were dyed green, photos and video reviewed by The Times and CBS News also show. So Mr. Special is not so Special at all it seems.

Obama campaigns for Turncoat Senator Specter

Hey Dude, how about a couple of  our wars? The economy? Healthcare? Apparently Obama can’t stand a day without being in the spotlight. Is there ever a day without him zipping out in Air benedictForce One?  Could he just spend a day in Washington and not be in campaign mode? As for Specter, its time for the 79 year old to hang it up. Specter puts out a video celebrating his One year Anniversay of being a turncoat………

Specter, a longtime Republican, switched political parties in April, giving Democrats a valuable 60-vote majority in the Senate.”Candidate Obama was a transformational candidate and now he’s moving forward to be a transformational president. It’s a very real change,” Specter said. “He’s going to be successful with my help and the help of others.”  Right it’s sure is a real change.

President Barack Obama urged Pennsylvania voters on Tuesday to support the re-election bid of Sen. Arlen Specter in a personal appearance here for the Republican-turned-Democrat.

“Arlen’s not someone who came to Washington to fight for a particular ideology. He came to fight for the working men and women of Pennsylvania,” Obama said. “He has a long and successful record of doing just that.”
