Wow, what fun Rush Limbaugh must have had running his car over Al Gore (the inventor of the internet).
First he hit him head on and then put his car in reverse and ran over him again. Too bad it was a cardboard cutout. I wish I had been in the car with him.
from Newsbusters
Taking the “Green Car Challenge” on Thursday night’s Jay Leno Show, a svelte Rush Limbaugh — declining to don a helmet — hopped into the electric Ford Focus on Leno’s track behind his NBC studio in Burbank, but instead of driving around the hanging cut outs of Al Gore and Ed Begley Jr., Limbaugh ran right into them.
Then, to Leno’s cries of “Oh, c’mon!”, a delighted Limbaugh accepted the penalty against his time score and stopped, backed up and smashed into them again. Limbaugh’s maneuvering ensured a lower score (greater time) than the three previous contestants since Leno’s show debuted last week: Drew Barrymore, Al Michaels and Bob Costas.

Could be just a Friday thing. Or maybe death threats and the commute home. 3 in one day for the FBI. Hopefully they got them all and lets all pray Obama doesn’t start treating the FBI like the CIA.

Keep in mind my profession. I categorize things all day long. Green, just doesnt come to mind when thinking about the freakin green car that Rush was driving around knocking everyone off. Green is a descriptive color- an adjective, that defines a noun. We have no Freakin noun as outlined in the websters dictionary.

But Capt – ‘Green’ in our industry is ‘energy efficient’ but then again according to a recent NY Post Opinion its
“…a building craze sweeping the nation isn’t so much a movement as a highly lucrative regime of payouts and misinformation. You could call it a moral-protection racket. ”

[how do you make that link live??...oh the learning curve!]
September 25, 2009 at 4:45 pm
Very good analysis— Green car – would be fine. One could extrapolate as to the usage, and squeak it as a category. Not a defining color– Green– Green energy– still preferable to have a more defining noun. Exception taken and noted.

Aye Capt…have a good weekend!

I watched this last night and the drive thing was funny. He ran over Ed Begley too. But MORE interesting was the discussion before that when Leno and he talked about Obama, Tarp, healthcare…and the reason that was so interesting: THE APPLAUSE HE GOT!!
September 25, 2009 at 2:38 pm
